Yesterday we went for our evening Chaat session. Raju Panipuriwala has been running this eatery now for almost 10 years. As there were hardly any customers yesterday , he could narrate his problems with locals who would come and eat full plate of Panipoori but insist on paying only Rs 2. He also mentioned about the torture meted out by Thakurs in his hometown of Mirzapur and how things are slowly changing for the better these days.
All these conversations made me think about the trials n difficulties each and every micro entrepreneur has to go through. I felt my situation is no better than his. Each of us are battling a war of our own to survive and earn a living.

In the city, she joined her older brother who had migrated earlier, together with his wife and son.
All four of them live together in a small room room tucked discreetly into the alley. This room serves as both their private home and a public store.
