Created by Hart Hanson and loosely based on the life and writing of forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, Bones starred Emily Deschanel as Dr. Temperance Brennan, a brilliant Smithsonian forensic anthropologist who identifies victims from skeletal remains with unmatched precision, and David Boreanaz as FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth, her partner whose people-reading instincts complement her scientific certainty. Across twelve seasons and 246 episodes, Bones became one of the longest-running scripted dramas in Fox history, anchored by the slow-burn partnership between two people who saw the world in fundamentally different ways and built something lasting in the space between logic and faith.
