On Thursday, May 17th, 2018, AABANY held a General Counsel Panel and Reception at Arnold & Porter. The panel discussion, moderated by Michael Wu, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Carter’s, included:

Lucy Fato, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of AIG; 

David G. Leitch, Global General Counsel of Bank of America; 

Sandra Leung, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Bristol-Myers Squibb; 

Kelly Mahon Tullier, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Visa; and 

Bradford Turner, Chief Legal and Administrative Officer of Newell Brands.

During the discussion, the panelists shared their experiences and expertise on various topics focusing on how in-house counsel can be more effective in working with their respective companies. Panelists expressed the importance of cohesion between companies and their in-house counsel and the role of in-house counsel as a company’s “sounding board,” someone reliable and honest that the company can look to for advice. The panelists concluded with a discussion on the importance of diversity and inclusion and their roles as general counsels in advancing diversity and inclusion in their respective workplaces.

原來，20個人只有我一個人是畫圖的喔。我以為我生下來就懂繪圖與3D動畫什麼的，以為別人也是。還好沒有講那些Polygons,Edges,Vertex,Subdivide,Sculpt,Particle,Brush,….。 瞬間會走光光的吧~~~ XD。

聽說在屏東的第一場，有超過百人來參加呢。 對照想想後，覺得台北真不愧是”商業”城市啊！對”非商業”的事，確實還真不感興趣呢。只能說業配文般的商業軟體教育，果然能讓台北人”知”的有限。好啦~ 虧台北一下就好，還沒嘴賤到想打嘴砲~

我跟自己這麼說的… 畫的東西，作的東西，跟業主當地同行水準一樣的好，又怎麼樣呢? 這個”一樣好”的功力，帶來的報酬看似很多，但實際上就是低於業主當地同行好幾倍。 為啥找我? 因為我只是一個他們不用負到責任的， 既沒看過，也不需要見過，便宜又好用的高級代工而已。 這個”一樣好”的功力，只是讓我目前生活，暫時過的比周圍的同行好一些而已。 但，好不了多久的…。 接到高等代工案子不用高興的太早，也沒什麼好驕傲的。 因為廉價的高等能力，太容易被廉價所取代。 我的廉價能取代了業主那邊同行的工作， 早晚也會被工錢更低地方的同行取代的。 因為， 只是畫的一樣好， 不是無可取代，無可替代的好。 故事不是我掰的，核心企畫不是我想的。 甚至連業主也不曾想認識到我。 我只是個連名子都掛不上的代筆代工。 只是個有畫法，不能有想法的畫匠、畫工而已…。 然後， 就不再接跟業主當地同行水準一樣好的案子了。…
