did learned archery when he was younger but prefers guns and fighting like his mom
tried to be a hero once, but after his team disband, he choose another path
heâs a SHIELD agent now
lives in a small apartment in new york with one of his best friends
he honestly just want peace but his sisters never leave him alone
â Mia Pietra Romanoff-Barton
sheâs 2 years younger than nicky & 6 years older than katie (subject to change because I suck at math and ages but it's just an estimate)
miaâs also the most methodical and calm of the siblings
like the others she did learn basic fighting and had defense lessons so she knows how to defend herself just fine
but she never wanted to be a hero like her parents or uncles
she also never liked archery so she tried once and that was it
she moved to california when she was 18 for college
today sheâs almost finishing her studies to become a lawyer
she visit her family whenever she can
loves to spend time with her siblings and itâs the one who always needs to rescue them when sheâs near and theyâre in trouble.
â Katherine Yelena Romanoff-Barton
the youngest of the barton siblings
and sheâs still living with their parents
but she also practically lives on her siblings house when she can (she spends more time on nickyâs house to because Mia lives in another state)
everyone describes her as the kindest one of the 3
and sheâs also the only one of them that really loves archery & picked up their father's legacy
like her father and kate bishop sheâs one of the best archers in the world. sheâs a sharpshooter.
sheâs a hero and sheâs clintâs sideckick
regarding her siblings, sheâs little bit closer to nicky because they spend more time together and live near each other. But she admires mia and always looked up to her big sister
if Nat starts getting gray hairs, itâs going to be her fault.
all right so the trailer dropping gave me the inspiration i needed to finally present to you guys my version of the barton siblings! theyâre all canon in the comics but only Katie had more participation. The other 2 doesn't have names so i came up with them myself. All their personalities also came from my headcanons and Nicky & Mia are based on old ocs that i had in the past!

Stef used her key to unlock and open the apartment door before stepping inside the somewhat crowded living room. Play mats and toys littered the floor. Three carrier baskets held sleeping babies, while on the couch slept Clint and Mia.
The young woman smiled and quietly shut the door. Days like this made everything feel so right, and yet she still felt so unsure. But right now maybe she could just⌠pretend.
She tip-toed her way to the kitchen. After spending the day with her father, she felt confident in her ability to make something. Her cooking wouldnât compare to Buckyâs yet without supervision, but that was okay. They all had had worse things to eat.
It felt so normal, so⌠perfect. By the time anyone had woken up to join her, she had nearly finished making dinner.
âHey, didnât know you were home at first,â Mia yawned. She blinked when she realized what Stef was doing. âYou made dinner?â
âOh. Yeah.â Stef turned off the stove once it was done cooking and peeked over.
âThatâs great, Stef. Thanks.â Coming closer, she looked at the other womanâs face and asked, âWhatâs wrong? Youâre frowning. Was it supposed to be a surprise?â
âNo, sorry. Just⌠I forgot I was a single parent for a few minutes, thatâs all.â
âStefâŚâ
âSorry,â she said again, going to a cabinet to start getting plates.
Mia watched her. âYou still think you arenât with us?â
âI do live with you,â Stef replied.
âNo.â Mia blushed and glanced away. âI mean, really with us. You even let Clint in the bed with us now.â
âHeâs your husband.â
With a shake of her head, Mia gave a sigh. âHoney, we thought you actually wanted to be a part of us. Otherwise youâd be in a separate room.â
âYou really mean it?â
âI do. Iâve always meant it, Stef. I would never lie to you about how I feel - and neither would Clint.â
âO-oh. Okay.â
âSo⌠um.â
âUh, foodâs done.â
âYeah.â Nodding, Mia added, âIâll get Clint, and -â
âWeâll talk more later?â Stef finished for her.
âYeah. But we actually will, not just say we will and then donât like your parents do. Anyway, Iâm gonna go get him.â Mia left the kitchen to go grab Clint.
Stef stood there holding plates while she thought about what Mia said. Did she really want to believe this could all be real? Yes. But did she think that was going to be the case?
That was a question that might always haunt her, but maybe, just maybe, she could try believing Mia and Clint this time. At least or now.
persons a and b of your ot3 are married or engaged, and person c gets really insecure about it at times a and b notice and reassure c that they want c there
Stef quietly watched from her seat on the couch as a few of Clint's tenants came around to congratulate him on finally catching himself a wife, oohing and ahhing over Mia's ring. Sure, legally Mia was Clint's wife, but what did that make her? Deep down she knew that the couple loved her just as much as they loved each other, but times like this, she wondered if giving into her feelings for Mia and finding she cared for Clint as well had been a mistake. People gave them all confused looks when they explained that Stef was an equal member in their relationship, though not legally allowed to be recognized as such.
There were days it was fine; they all functioned as a single unified force as they dealt with Renata with her teenaged drama and oversaw the renovations to what would be their home after the troubles were dealt with and it was safe to move out of Tony's place.
Stef absently ran a hand over her swollen belly. Her due date was a couple months away and the little human inside her was being quite active as he came closer to meeting his family. She could do without the constant beating of her insides, but it would be worth it to finally see her son. She'd probably never know who her child's biological father was (oh, Tony could probably run a test or something and find out, but Stef really did not want to open that can of worms. Besides, he was probably dead after the raid to free her so what would be the point) and as far as she was concerned, Clint was her child's father as much as he was to Renata and the twins Mia was carrying; even if they weren't related by blood, he would still be the one he'd call Papa if that's what Clint wanted.
Mia moved away from the group she had been talking to, holding her back to try to relieve some of the pain from the twins as she came to join her other partner on the couch, leaving Clint alone to deal with his people. âHey, why the frown?â she asked, sitting on Stef's left side, tipping over to lean against the other woman, reaching her left hand over her own large stomach for Stef's right, a gesture they had come to do in order to feel close to each other and the children they both carried.
Taking the offered hand with a sigh, Stef didn't reply, instead opting to enjoy the closeness of the woman she loved. Mia was the only reason she had agreed to try this weird relationship. It wasn't that Clint was a bad guy, he had been rather sweet after they had discussed the issues the two of them had with Mia and he'd stopped thinking he was being replaced, it was just that he had come first in her love's life and had so much more than Stef did in the memories they shared. These feelings of not belonging blindsided Stef in moments that new people to her that knew Clint and Mia from before they got married would react when told that Mia wasn't Clint's only woman and that Mia had chosen Stef to join them for her and not him. It was hard to face the judgment of people close to them and not feel like an outsider in her own relationship.
âYou're doing it again, aren't you?â Clint asked quietly, coming over to check on his girls. He saw the look on Stef's face as clear as day; she was doubting her place again. âYou know, just because people don't get what we're doing with our lives, doesn't mean what we have isn't right for us.â He bent over to kiss her gently on her lips. âI love you,â he turned to Mia, âand I love you,â kneeling in front of them he continued, placing a gentle kiss on Stef's belly, âI love you,â and finally he kissed Mia's belly twice, âand I love both of you.â
âI love you so much, Stef, I'm glad you're here with us; no matter what people say, you belong here with us, we're a family. Let them say what they like, you're my love and they can't take that away,â Mia added as she ran her fingers through what was now blue tipped hair.
Stef nodded. âI love youâŚâ She knew it was true. People might not understand her place in their relationship, but somehow deep down she knew that with these two she'd always be loved just like she always wanted.

It had been a hard couple of months for Renata, try as she might she couldnât wrap her head around the medical techniques that was required for her final. She was studying to be a doctor because she wanted to help people like her family, either the super powered or the poor who needed help without judgement or worrying about being able to pay. Claire had been helping her and had promised to work at the clinic she wanted to open when she was done. All Renata had to do was finish her schooling, Uncle Tony had already promised funding to make her dreams a reality.
The frustration had finally gotten to her, so sheâd taken a weekend off and came to visit her parents, aunt, uncle, and unofficial grandparents. Papa had told a horrible dad joke and Renata couldnât help but laugh for the first time in ages.
âYou sound like your mother when you laugh like that,â heâd commented with a grin. It wasnât the first time someone had told her that. Mia had always told her eldest daughter that no matter what happened in her life, finding something that could make her laugh and feel better was important. Renata had always tried to take that advice to heart  and it had served her well.
Renata was proud she was so much like Mia. Her mother had been through so much in her life, yet still continued to be loving and supportive of her children. It inspired her to try to live her life to the fullest, no matter the challenges.
Looking at the woman in the kitchen, making dinner with her ever present cup of coffee, her heart swelled with love. Even though her mother had been absent for most of her childhood, it was to protect her from something much worse than not having her in her life. Renata had been hurt for a while after she learned the truth, but Mia had tried to repair the damage and made her life so much better in the process. No matter what choices  or mistakes sheâd made, her mother always stood up for her and helped her to understand why the bad decisions hadnât been the wisest without too much judgment. When she had children of her own, she hoped she could be just like her.
Watching Mia with her father and second mother, Renata had learned what loving unconditionally looked like. Her father had been her motherâs childhood sweetheart and Mom had been a later addition, but they all loved each other and it showed. If she could find one partner that would make her half as happy as Papa and Mom did Mama, she would consider herself lucky.
Mia had also taught her strength. Whenever there was a challenge, without thinking, she found herself putting her head down and saying a small prayer like her mother did when she got scared. There were also times that she doubted her looks were good enough to attract a partner and her ability to complete her degree with her brain. Renata would call her mother to talk and Miaâs words would remind her that she was beautiful, smart, and able to do whatever she set her mind to. Somehow with a few words, she could see herself through her motherâs eyes.
Making friends had always been easy for her as well. Renata had been taught that everyone was worth treating with respect when they deserved it and nobody should be looked down upon for their circumstances. The only thing she struggled with that seemed to come effortlessly to her mother was controlling her temper. Mia could walk away when she got angry, a fact Renata had been grateful for many times during her teenaged years, but when it came to walking away herself, it wasnât that easy. She always wanted to fight until it was over, never wanting to back down when she was right, getting her into trouble from time to time. It was something she was working on.
Even though her mother had been absent for over ten years of her life, Renata had come to love her deeply and rely on her when life seemed too much to continue. Her mama always seemed so graceful in everything she did.
Even when dealing with her, her young twin siblings and younger brother from mom, as well as the antics her papa and mom got up to, or just assisting with whatever hero crisis that needed her skills, Mia seemed to be perpetually running somewhere to do something, but always seemed to find time to care for everyone in a special way.
The last time sheâd visited her Nona, a comment was made that Renata was starting to look alot like her mother did at that age. The girl couldnât help the smile that spread across her face, maybe if she looked like Mia, she could be like her in other ways. In the ways that truly counted. She hoped she would do her mother proud.

Mia had been arguing with Clint again over her safety and ability to be a hero now that the twins had been born. She mentioned missing being out in the field, and Clint hadnât been the most supportive of the idea, talking about how the babies needed their mother around. It was frustrating.
It was days like this she was glad that Tony trusted her enough to let her be in his lab unsupervised, where she could just hide away and play with the robot arm that the genius affectionately called âdummyâ. She stepped out of the elevator, walking into the lab. At first she wondered where dummy was, but then she heard the familiar beeping, but it wasnât sounding as cheerful as usual, she could tell. âDummy, whatâs wrong?â she asked it as she got closer. The hand spun and chirped at her from its corner of gloom. âWhy are you over here, huh?â
Before the bot could respond to her, they heard something open, heavy steps going across the floor as it closed again and Mia turned to see the Iron Man suit walking into the room. âHelp me,â she said as he stopped in the middle of the lab, causing Tony to look over as the face plate came off, âthe robotâs making sad beeps; make him happy, please.â
Stepping out of the suit and letting JARVIS walk it back to its storage area to await repairs, Tony walked over to them. âOkay, DUM-E, what did you do to put yourself in timeout this time?â
âHeâs in timeout?â Mia asked him. âLike a child?â
âWell, yeah, when he does something heâs not supposed to,â Tony explained, looking around the lab. Something caught his eye and he went to check one of the projects he left on his table. âDUM-E, did you break Cosimaâs gift in half?â he questioned the bot, receiving panicked beeps in response.
âIâm sure it was an accident,â Mia told him, impressed that the robot seemed to have actual emotions and even a sense of right and wrong. And right now was feeling guilty for breaking something his human had been working on. She was beginning to really understand why Tony treated them like living things, even using gendered pronouns for them.
âJARVIS, how long has DUM-E been in the corner?â Tony asked the ever present AI.
âSince you left and he tried to move it, sir.â
âOkay then. DUM-E, punishment over.â
The robot cheerfully chirped and Mia gave it a hug. âYouâre a good boy, arenât you?â
âYeah, he is. Mostly is.â
The woman nodded, coming to stand beside him. âSo listen, I have a question,â she said, watching him bring up a screen from the computer monitor.
âWhat is it?â he asked her, looking up information on a supposedly new HYDRA base, according to his employers, somewhere in Antarctica, of all places.
âWhat was that flavor of cake you liked? I need to know because reasons.â
âCake, huh?â DUM-E chirped as it aimed its water gun at Tony and the man opened his mouth so the bot could squirt water into it. âThat was a great idea, by the way. But anyway, cake, cake⌠Chocolateâs always good. So is vanilla.â He swiped away the file on the Antarctica base and brought up a hologram of a watch. âWhat would you think of one for you and one for Stef?â he wondered.
âItâs a watch, so I guess itâs pretty safe, right?â
He grinned at her as he said, âWell, sure it looks safe, thatâs the whole point, but watch what happens when I do this.â He pressed a button on the interactive hologram, and the watch quickly transformed into a gauntlet, much like his own, but faster and without the need to pull it over the hand.
Mia smiled as she watched. âGreat self defense.â
âThat is exactly what I was going for.â He pressed the button again and it quickly reverted back to a watch. âIf I can make it so that only the owner can make it convert to a gauntlet, do you think I could put it on the market? Predators wouldnât know what hit âem.â
âBut most probably couldnât afford it,â Mia pointed out.
âIâll get that figured out. I just hope that they donât fall into the wrong hands.â
âYou canât police who buys what,â Mia gently reminded him.
He quietly nodded and started working on the model as Mia watched. Eventually she left him to it and went down to the common room kitchen, getting things out. Baking him a cake as a thank you sounded like a great idea. Besides, if he enjoyed it enough this time around, she would know what to do for his birthday. After all, he was family now, right?

Rating: GeneralWords: 376
âBut I want one,â cried Bucks, the little five-year-old, clinging to his motherâs leg. The kids had been to their first petting zoo and had just fallen so in love with the animals.
âWe donât have the room,â Clint sighed. âSorry, but we donât. We already have Lucky and James, and even a few of the damn cats your deda keeps finding.â
âClint, watch your language,â Mia warned. âYou know mamaâs going to be visiting in a few days. We donât need the kids swearing at her.â
âSorry, babe,â he told her. âIt just slipped out, you know?â
Picking up her son, Stef said, âWould it really offend her?â
âWell, she might use the âwash your mouth out with soapâ threat that old folks still seem to like throwing around,â Clint replied with a shrug.
âYou know she made good on that threat a couple times with you and Barney,â said Mia, Tone and Carmen looking at their father.
âDaddy, you tasted soap?â
âEw, that sounds so gross!â
âYeah, yeah, soap bubbles are gross,â agreed Clint. âBut about the pet thing⌠Girls, you agree with me, right?â
âIt would be cute, though,â Stef stated. âYeah, maybe we donât have room, butâŚâ
âMaybe Tony can keep it at the tower,â Mia suggested. âIâm sure heâs lonely with Cosima visiting the family, and the boys on their anniversary.â
With another sigh, Clint groaned, âAlriiightâŚâ He pulled out his phone, calling the man up.
âHello, birdbrain,â he heard Tony answer after only a couple rings.
âHey, Tony. Listen, I got a favor to ask.â
âShoot.â
âThe kids want another pet but we donât have the room, so maybe you could watch it for us?â
âJust donât buy a goat,â Tony quickly answered.
âExcuse me?â Clint asked.
âI donât care what you do, just no goats.â
Clint looked at the three kids. âUh, sure.â
It had been a few days and Tony had completely forgotten all about the pet conversation, until he was walking through the common room and noticed something out of the corner of his eye, causing him to pause and look at the goat staring back at him. âI hope youâre not a fire-breather,â he grumbled, deciding to plan his revenge on the archer later.

Part Two (by @ladydarkphoenix-blog )
Stef was sitting with Mia and Tony in the common room, days before the women would be learning the sexes of their growing little ones. Tony was actually trying to take a break for once, hiding from Secretary Ross again as he was curled up in a chair, seeming to have the rest of the world tuned out while he was doing things on his phone, the women resting on the couch as they watched a program on TV. They looked away only when Clint entered the room. âHow are you girls doing?â he asked them, sitting in an empty chair.
âWell, Iâm exhausted so Stefâs keeping me company,â Mia sighed. âHonestly, Iâm ready for this to be over. So tired of being tired.â
âBut the babies are well, so thatâs good, right?â said Stef.
âYeah, it is, I know,â Mia replied, snuggling more with her.
Clint chuckled a little. âSoon weâll get to meet them all. And hey, after the next appointment we can start looking at baby clothes, right? Probably... girlsâ clothes for Stefâs and --â
âActually, I bet itâs a boy,â Tony suddenly spoke up, his eyes never leaving his phoneâs screen.
âOh, do you?â Clint countered, those brown eyes finally looking up at him. âIâm telling you, itâs gonna be a girl.â
âNo, itâs going to be a boy,â Tony said again.
âAnd I bet itâs probably a turtle,â Stef interjected with a roll of the eyes. Mia softly laughed.
âSo youâre so confident that Stefâs gonna have a boy?â Clint questioned the billionaire.
âTotally. And another thing,â Tony decided to add, âneither twin will be a boy. Youâre going to be surrounded by women, birdbrain.â
âYou want to bet on that?â the archer taunted.
âYes, actually, I do.â
âAlright, so how about this then? Loser gets a tattoo, winnerâs choice where and what.â
âYouâre on.â
âAnd youâre gonna lose because Iâm confident Iâll have at least, at least, one boy.â
âTechnically, youâre not the one having them,â Mia muttered as she and Stef watched the men, knowing it was going to probably be a nightmare pushing out two babies this time around.
âTheyâre not even listening,â Stef sighed, her fingers playing with Miaâs hair.
Short Fic Prompt ListPart One (by @ladydarkphoenix-blog )âWhy does anyone have to be naked?âRating: TeenWords: 432
Stef snuggled up against Mia on the bed, hoping she wasnât rushing herself with this choice. It had been a few months now since she and Clint tried moving their relationship with each other forward and started kissing, but this step was getting closer to intercourse with him, and she definitely was not ready for that. âIâm nervous,â she admitted to Mia.
âStef, you donât have to be,â said Mia. âYou know he wonât force you into anything you donât want, right?â
âI know that, but...â
âBut what?â
âWhat if he really wants to but I donât and he doesnât like that --â
âStef,â Mia said, getting her attention, âhe isnât Angelo, remember?â
Stef lightly sighed, but nodded. It was true; Clint was already nothing like Angelo. Clint was patient, gentle, never forceful, while Angelo had been manipulative, rough, and... well, very forceful. She didnât want to keep thinking Clint would be like him, but the only other men she had had experience with werenât much better; Brock and his men had been the worst. However... well, Tony had been gentle and kind, even though their time together had been Angeloâs doing.
The door to their bedroom opened, a confused Clint peeking in at them. âUh, hey, girls. What are you doing in here?â
âWaiting for you, actually,â Mia told him. âStef wants to try experimenting with you.â
âC-could we not be... n-naked though?â asked the young woman.
Clint blinked at her, a bit confused. âWhy does anyone have to be naked?â he wondered. âYou donât need to undress to make out, you know. Uh, if... if thatâs what you want to do, anyway.â
âR-really? And no... no touching under my clothes?â she needed to know.
âExactly. That was how... he liked things, right? Well, just remember that Iâm not him, okay?â Clint tried assuring her.
âI-I know... Iâm sorry, really, I just...â
âHey, itâs okay,â he told her, sitting with them on the bed. âI know why you keep thinking that, but I promise, Iâm not like him. We donât even have to try this tonight if you donât want to.â
Stef nodded. She wanted to do this, though. âC-could you kiss me then?â
With a smile, Clint answered, âAlways,â and he softly pressed his lips against hers. This was a good pace for them, because she was the one that set it, and Clint and Mia were completely fine with that. Stef didnât even need to feel pressured to be at all intimate with him if thatâs what she wanted. They would accept whatever she needed to feel safe and loved.
