On the basis that its basically just occured to me that while Ethan might have assumed/guessed Benji was the one doing the work on the prison remotely (not knowing he was a field officer at the time) he actually wouldn't have known for certain that it was Benji in control of the cameras/doors in the prison and therefore….oooooh the drama if it had been a different tech guy and Ethan's giving air kisses over the camera to them and pointing at his heart etc.
Ethan would not be hearing the end of it.
Mission impossible 4 really nailed MY Ethan hunt. He’s not suave he’s a repressed parkour loving weirdo. His hair is swooshy again. He loves coming up with impossible little plans that he somehow manages to pull off. He loves his friends. He sucks at relationships. He’s incapable of saying no to a mission but he desperately wants a vacation.
