GUESS WHAT i just finished the tyrant's tomb yesterday so here's my take:
-so now it's time for the Roman camp to get some attention
-hazel is super badass I think she is one of the most powerful demigods and she's better than nico to me
-i don't care for Lavinia she's reckless and i don't like her bye
-baby Frank I loved how Apollo described him in the book I love Frank he is my son
-i honestly dont understand the point of Reyna always using her whole ass name I mean we already know your name you don't have to repeat it every 5 minutes
-all the books are like this: you get a mini quest then with some new info you learn there is a much bigger threat waiting for you. Oh also, you're dying Apollo
-meg is less annoying in this book but she's still meh to me
-the part where they rescue the soundless god was super boring except for the part where Lester asks Reyna out
-i mean??? The whole Lester crushing on Reyna was super stupid but also hilarious
-when he did asked her she just laughed in his face (you're laughing, I just asked to break your curse and be your boyfriend and you're laughing)
-it was nice that was the way in how she felt liberated from her curse instead of actually dating Apollo that would have been super cringey
-but I mean she could have done well with a nice gf fuck u Rick
-lavinia Is an asshole she could have just told Reyna her plan instead of being a bitch about it
-the fact that Dakota died was super sad.
-also Thalia being chill about Jason's death????? I would have loved for her to be mad at Lester or something
-i don't understand how Tyson and ella are together??? It just doesn't make sense to me but rick wants every fucking character to have a significant other except for Reyna oh well
-FOR A MOMENT I thought frank was really dead I MEAN I WOULD HAVE THROWN HANDS WITH RICK
-like????? IMAGINE??? Both Jason and frank die but Leo FUCKING LEO GETS TO SURVIVE?????????????? FUCK YOU RICK
-but at least frank didn't die
-also he got control of his own destiny so that was nice.
-i have no idea what frank and hazel have and I hope it's not a romantic relationship
-shes 13 or 14 now????? That's not nice mr zhang
-dont get me wrong, I love Frank and I love hazel but they don't have to be together rick why do you have to be so white
-but the fact that they get to be praetors at the end probably means they end up together so
-also Lavinia got to be centurion by breaking the rules and being a jerk?????? Bye
rn I'm on chapter 2 of tower of Nero so wish me luck and let's see what new things can rick riordan come up with to make me hate him even more
