Watch Nanette on Netflix I would say. One of, if not THE most powerful message conveyed in such an intellectual and intelligent way. I think Hannah Gadsby pretty much said exactly what I think needs to be said. Also I think, watch Queer Eye. When Jonathan said that by shutting off the vulnerability within ourselves, we shut off other parts as well and we can’t selectively choose which feelings to mute and which we can’t…. that hit me hard. Queer Eye is such a representation of what I need to hear.
Read, god, I don’t know. I’d say RWRB but that’s not really something that relates to who I am (although I guess it does because I am still obsessed with it) but also I’m trying to think of an essay or poem that reflects accurately who I am…. idk, literally thinking about this for ten minutes and I’m like, I’ve never read anything. I just returned from the Stromae concert in Amsterdam and holy shit. It was utterly breath taking and AMAZING! He really knows how to create a party and the crowd went nuts! He's so charismatic, and he even spoke dutch to the crowd! (Hes from belgium after all) HIs accent was sooooo cute! And his moves..DAMN! I just. I had the night of my life! Merci Stromae!
