Heading home to study for my permit test. Gonna listen to Gossip (the band). My God, I fucking hate Los Angeles' public transportation. I can't wait to drive.

Lmfao the bus driver just got off the bus and was like 'i have to go and take a piss, make sure no one steals the bus'

So since the BRT had been inaugurated in Lahore with all it's glory, and even though i hate the logic behind the project and the way it induces claustrophobia on the road and disrupts Lahore's skyline and view especially at the lower mall onwards and further sidelines the pedestrians, like the rest of Lahore, I really wanted to ride the bus while it swooshes about its newly built route. So yesterday, some friends and I visited the new food street outside the Lahore fort and we were near data darbar when we saw the huge flood lights at the BRT terminals, we saw people with their families, all dressed up in their best attires roaming around the road and we could hear the 'dhol walas' at a distance and apparently riding the BRT had become more of an event. The terminal didn't seem to be so crowded so I started convincing my friends that we should park and ride the bus and perhaps be a part of the event. Just as I was doing so, I saw two buses pass by and my I stopped talking, sentence hanging midway, words all lost and jaw dropped. It seemed as if someone had taken the bus and filled it up with human flies that were chaotically stuck to the window's glass and on top of one another and I couldn't tell where one body ended and another began. Yet, they were all smiles, loud and excited. Only in Lahore.
