He’s tall as hell (I mean, not mètminwi level of tall, but pretty damn tall regardless). He has red eyes (not glowing, but red is red). He has a habit of snatching up kids when they misbehave.

This one is much less concrete, but Cora also strikes me as a bit of a night owl? Not by choice, really though. More of an “oh god why did I do that embarrassing thing ten years ago it’s keeping me awake” and stress smoking past midnight deal.

Mètminwi is a type of boogeyman from Haitian folklore. He appears as a monstrously tall man with legs two floors high, who walks around towns at midnight, snatching up and eating people who are still outside.

Mètminwi's name is a contraction of two French words; "maître," meaning "master," and "minuit," meaning midnight. Therefore, his name can be interpreted as meaning "the master of midnight."
