I'm going to go away for a while...
I need to get a hold of myself.Â
Behind The Curtains
I realized that some relationships are too delicate. I realized that having the power of changing someone's perspective so drastically is dangerous. What I mean is that sometimes things are the way they are without you wanting them to be that way, and some other things are the way you THINK they are but that doesn't mean that they are actually that way. You just can't come and and throw some light on desensitized lies as if it won't make any difference in some kind of way. Impossible.
I've been thinking that what happens behind the curtains, before the curtains open and give way to the show, are meant to stay that way. Everybody wants to see what happens behind the curtains, but nobody knows, except those who are behind it. They have big curtains in theatres for a reason, it is not nonsense or just because. Before the curtains open the scenery and the outfits must be ready. It's a preparation for the things that are meant to be displayed in the scenery, for the things that want to be shown. The things that are meant to be displayed to the public are not necessarily real. Indeed, it is almost never real. The spectacle might be far from reality, but it is made for entertainment and pleasure of the viewers. The purpose of it all is to please the viewer. However, what happens behind the curtains is of no importance whatsoever, since the viewers are not conscious of it. They can create images, or have ideas formed from expectations in their heads, but the truth is that it is impossible to know the things that are taking place behind it. The best you can do is to make assumptions, which could be either wrong or right.
People seldom think that things out of the ordinary could be happening behind the curtains anyway. Everyone thinks that the most surprising part is the spectacle that is presented to them, but they are so wrong.
