This delightful take on the traditional s'mores is presented in these Peanut Butter S'mores Bars. This delicacy combines chocolate, marshmallows, and creamy peanut butter without the need for a campfire. These are ideal for get-togethers, picnics, or anytime you want the indulgence of s'mores without having to deal with the mess of a bonfire.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 1/4 cups creamy peanut butter. 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar. 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows. 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1/4 cup heavy cream. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F. Butter a 23 x 23 cm 9 x 9 in baking pan. Melted butter and graham cracker crumbs should be combined in a mixing bowl. To form the crust, press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan that has been prepared. Beat the powdered sugar and peanut butter together thoroughly in a separate mixing bowl. Cover the graham cracker crust with this peanut butter mixture. Over the peanut butter layer, scatter the miniature marshmallows. The marshmallows should bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown, in a preheated oven. Make the chocolate ganache while the bars are baking. Mix the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips in a bowl that is safe to use in the microwave. Microwave, stirring in between each 30-second burst, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. When the bars are done, take them out of the oven and cover the marshmallows with the chocolate ganache right away. After letting the bars cool in the pan for about thirty minutes, place them in the refrigerator to set for at least two hours. Enjoy your Peanut Butter S'mores Bars by cutting them into squares after they've chilled!
