Sam held out a piece of paper out to the young woman. A nurse nearby watching him. Not even allowing him alone with a piece of paper and pen.  “You wont need it,” he admitted with a weary little smile, but he still offered his phone number to Marin on the day of her leaving.  “But... just in case things turns out different?” he finished. He didn’t have any hope left, but... when you were a Winchester things could be unpredictable.

Harry smiled and reached for Luna’s hand. “I’ll admit it did seem unlikely there for a long while,” he replied. “But I finally managed to grow a pair.” He stopped outside of the Owl Emporium, looking wistfully at the snowy owls. They had lost so much. “I don’t know that moving on will ever happen though, not fully.”

When she got close enough, Dean smiled softly and turned to face her right when she’d been about to give him a kiss on his cheek. Chuckling softly at the unintended kiss, he cupped her face in his hands, his book forgotten in his lap and kissed her gently. “Hey there, ...”

“...alright, alright, you told me so.” It would be fine, he’d said. Only a short walk away from the compound, they could just leg it, he’d said. “Next time we’ll just use an ordering service if there’s a hint of rain in the forecast.” Not to mention that if anyone else was around the compound and needed food, next time, that’d make it easier to get food for more than just two people.

“Hey whoa. I come in peace.” Ruby held her hands up. She’d heard of Jo. Of course she had with being close to the Winchesters. Well, being close to Sam. She’d also heard that he’d been avoiding Jo after what had happened with Meg. The demon raised an eyebrow, still on guard just in case of any sudden movements. She wanted to be ready to fight back at least. “Came to see Sam. But he must have gone out or left already.”

Percival held her gaze, a serious frown settling in on his face. He reached for her hands and cupped them in his own. For a long moment, he simply drank her in with his eyes, the bounce of her girls complimenting the glitter in her eyes. “A beautiful sentiment from a beautiful woman,” he sighed. “But your teasing reveals the very problem--Director--I have overstepped my bounds.”

The dementor presences really took their toll on him, susceptible to all the tragic memories that plagued the former death eater. The tremors of cold, dread, and long-term exposure to dark magic was evident in the way his body moved — pushing himself into a corner as his fingers dropped into his pockets of his waist coat to keep themselves from quivering too much. He found himself counting down to the second he could apparate out of here and rid himself of the harrowing affliction of the wizarding prison.

With a smile on his lips, Steve turned to the familiar voice and nodded. “I know, ... I’ve just been restless lately. Sleep doesn’t come easy after all that’s been going on. And you, ... how come you’re awake?”
