I was going to gush about how cool Snow White is, and how I called Snow White/Cinderella eons ago (lace and glass, come on now), and how they call each other sisters, but I kinda incline more to wives in some cases, maybe, and how great are Brennan’s portrayals of princesses, wise and powerful each in very different ways, but then he does THIS and I feel personally attacked.

Probably they are closely related to the #MerKing, or doing well in #commerce, which some merfolk do like to participate in. The Mer-King is the richest of all the Mer-Folk, and has a large collection of valuable golden treasures. But you don't need #wealth or #treasure to live #happily #underthesea. The #ocean provides everything a #young #mermaid needs.
