メリクリ(merikuri) = Merry Christmas (informal) あけおめ (akeome) = Happy New Year (very informal, used usually for after the New Year)

I read somewhere that Deep Purple boys always stopped touring in order to celebrate Christmas properly with families, etc... Did they love Xmas so much???
