My favorite merchling! Wylan Van Sunshine

   “ so — about that music tutor?  why didn’t you let alys answer? ”

he’s still alive ; still got his guns. bad hand after bad hand doesn’t change that, and jesper’s fingertips drum against the handles of his pistols, gaze sharp and bright. ❛ let’s not mention that one to kaz, shall we? ❜

          𝐈𝐓  𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃𝐍’𝐓  𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄  been  so  jarring  —  everyone  had  the  dreams  until  they  found  each  other.  but  the  others  stopped  mentioning  jordie  fast  enough;      wylan  hadn’t  even  known  the  story  yet.  kaz  taps  his  fingers  against  the  head  of  his  cane,  unused  to  the  nervous  energy  bubbling  up  in  him.  he  doesn’t  look  up  when  the  new  immortal  walks  into  the  room  with  him,  though  he’s  ACUTELY  AWARE  OF  HIS  PRESENCE.  each  of  the  crows  has  their  own  way  of  entering  a  room  to  check  on  him:      inej  almost  silently,  jesper  with  the  rattle  of  his  revolvers,  matthias’s  heavy  step,  and  nina  always  with  a  quip.      (he’ll  learn  wylan’s  soon).      kaz  lets  out  a  breath.      “i  assume  they  told  you  about  him?”      it  was  easier  for  the  others  to  tell  the  story  of  jordie  when  he  could  barely  speak  the  words  without  feeling  like  he  was  drowning.      “WELL?  if  you  have  questions,  don’t  just  stare  at  me.”      the  words  are  said  with  more  venom  than  he  means  for,  but  he  doesn’t  show  any  emotion  on  his  face.
