Who saidĀ āI love youā first:
Haru is oblivious to what heās feeling most of the time. He separates his feelings into sadness, happiness, affection, and anger, so he doesnāt exactly have a firm grasp on āloveā unless heās referring to water or his friends.
Makoto decided to give him a little push, because he knows Haru more than Haru knows himself. He was a blushy mess, and nervous as hell but the message seemed to get to Haru, and thatās when he realized oh. I love him too.
Who would have the otherās picture as their phone background:
Makotoās home background is a photo of Haru sleeping and the bedroom is glowing with the rising sun and all that. The lighting just made Haru look infinitely more beautiful (not like he isnāt already) and Makoto couldnāt help himself. His hair was tousled, and he was drooling, but Makoto was absolutely in love.
Haru doesnāt use his phone a lot to communicate, and uses it mostly to check the time, so Makoto is his lock screen. Itās a blurry photo of Makoto in just his boxers and glasses, and his hand is reaching out to stop Haru from taking the photo. He has a dumb smirk on his face every time someone opens his phone and sees the photo.
Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror:
Theyāre usually reminders to ānot overwork yourselfā or ādonāt forget to study for an upcoming testā, but theyāre always followed with an āI love you, Haru!ā. Haru has to wipe it before he blushes too hard.
Who buys the other cheesy gifts:
He knows how much Makoto loves chocolate, but he thinks Makoto deserves more than just a cheap candy bar, so he goes all out with heart shaped gourmet chocolates in a heart shaped box, and they each have secret fillings.
Makoto keeps telling him to not spend his money on an expensive box of chocolates (plus a bouquet of roses courtesy of Kisumi), but Haru doesnāt want to listen because since he isnāt good with words, he wants to show his love with gestures.
Who initiated the first kiss:
They were hanging out after training, talking about what they want to do in the future and Makoto complaining about all the studying he has to do. There was silence after, and they just gazed at each other, and they knew exactly what was in each otherās minds. They both leaned in, but Makoto was so nervous he missed.
He was so embarrassed Haru had to shower him with kisses to make him feel better.
āIt was supposed to be special! And I ruined it! Iām sorry, Haru!ā
Who kisses the other awake in the morning:
Haru is bored when he wakes up in the weekend. Since his sleep schedule is much more balanced than Makotoās, it takes Makoto a few hours to wake up after him. He would let Makoto rest despite himself, admiring the way his face scrunches up, or how he mutters to himself, until he grows restless and kisses the boy. Makotoās eyes would flutter open, then widen, and heās pulling away, blushing furiously while he coughs out the taste of morning breath.
Itās rare, but there are days when Makoto wakes up earlier than Haru (sleep schedule stuff), and heād try to get out of bed, but Haru has an iron grip when heās asleep, clinging to Makoto like his life depends on it. Makoto finds it amusing, but he also has stuff to do. He wants to be a cheesy romantic so he leans in and kisses Haru awake, before it backfires and theyāre both coughing and wheezing morning breath out.
Who starts tickle fights:
Haru doesnāt laugh. It isnāt wired to his brain. But Makoto knows every weak spot, and every chance he gets, he tickles him until Haru is screaming out his laughter as he accidentally kicks Makoto in the chest. Makoto vows to never do it again after being hurt. Until he does it the next day. And the day after that. And the day after that. And the day
Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower:
Because who wouldnāt miss the chance to see both naked Makoto and water?
He would open the door as quietly as he could, drop the clothes, and cut off Makotoās loud singing to ask, āMind if I join in?ā
Poor boy is so shocked he knocks all the bottles to the ground, and Haru swears he can see the blush from through the fogged glass.
But itās not like Makoto canāt say no.
Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch:
Makoto would be coaching, and Haru would find any excuse to watch him coach. And that means making him lunch every day.
Makoto is still surprised to see him, though, and he has to stop himself before he kisses Haru as a greeting. Misaki would also run up to him to talk, and Haru would nod along to whatever he says.
He always ignores Makotoās tiny, āBut I already have lunch.ā
Who was nervous and shy on the first date:
He would be FaceTiming Nagisa as he shows him every outfit so Nagisa can tell him what to wear. He also has Nagisa to teach him simple sentence starters and cheesy pick-up lines.
In the middle of the date, as Makoto asks Haru what his favorite food is (a sentence starter by Nagisa (āMakoto, you already know my favorite food.ā)), Haru notices how tense he is, so he takes Makotoās hand and reassures him. Makoto has never felt so enamored.
Who kills/takes out the spiders:
Makoto cries out when thereās a spider and runs to hide behind Haruās back, pointing shakily at the insect. He would be too guilty and afraid to kill it, so he would tell Haru to just bring it outside.
He refuses to touch Haru until he washes his hands.
Who loudlyĀ proclaimsĀ their love when theyāre drunk:
They would have a get together with Rei, Nagisa, Rin, and the like when theyāre older, and Rin challenges Haru to a drinking contest. Of course, Makoto is worried, but they do it anyways. Haru wins, but heās immediately drunk right after (it was one can of beer).
When heās drunk, Haru is an open book, and he spouts out the most ridiculous love confessions. Makoto realizes Haru has been thinking about them for a long time, too afraid to say it, so he smiles and just enjoys the attention.
