So many lies from @avangrid @hydroquebec @necec_me yet Mainers can see right through it all. I have to say, I really am not impressed with that John Williams photo. This may make me sound like a soft-on-crime bleeding-heart (which I definitely am), but it is so incredibly inappropriate to treat policing like trophy hunting. Even in this case, when really, Williams probably is guilty of a pretty serious crime, itâs still dangerous to gleefully share dramatic photos of him with Facebook comments about how he should be shot in the head. Celebrating this normalizes police brutality and contributes to a culture that suggests police should have free reign to do whatever they want.
