Day 7 was "The baby is coming"/new born & I picked newborns

Here's Maria & Elena(going in order of who was born first), I almost gave Elena a 3rd eye cause I forgot the sketches I used as refs involved the Sonadow ver of her.(As in if Mephiles wasn't involved at all so both twins are Shadow's bio kids)

Elena inherited not having a mouth from her dad(Mephiles) & Maria looks a lot like her dad(Shadow) but is energetic like her mom. All three parents are happy that the babies were born safe & sound. Mephiles & Sonic are emotional, Shadow is happy too but is able to remain more calm than his partners but to be fair they all have reasons to be happy.

I dunno if this counts as a sfw thing due to the fact accidental pregnancy comes into play.

Day 3 was accidents I have an oneshot I wanted to work on but it'll take a while so this is taking it's place. I almost wanted to add Commander Towers next to Venice & Silver(like he's just keeping an eye on them while the family goes to deal with Jet) but I gave up after a while, the only reason he was going to be there was because the journal that comes with physical copies of Sonic x Shadow Generation preorders admits Towers was a "happy accident" when explaining why he was even on the Ark.

For context Jet put "happy accident"/"happy accident 2" shirts on Venice & Silver because he thought it'd be funny. Sonic is embarrassed while the rest of his family is ready to strangle a certain bird because it's awkward to talk about.(Mephiles is trying to stay calm because someone needs to keep an eye on Sonic & the kids)

I never really talked about this cause it never came up but Venice & Silver were accidents, Sonic doesn't regret having them & loves his sons but they weren't planned. He ended up having them thanks to two separate incidents were Sonic went with Mephiles or tagged along with Shadow to the same Eggman base. They ended up in a room with a weird cloning machine & then once the whole thing with the machine was over with they had to escape though Shadow destroyed the machine before leaving.

Sonic kind of had a bad experience with this base as Mephiles went missing(thanks to Eggman) after they checked the base out & later learned he was expecting.(Made worse by knowing Mephiles wouldn't leave him) He only went back because he was worried about Shadow & it led to the machine not only being destroyed but having a big fight with Shadow that both regretted later. There's also the fact that after learning he's expecting Silver, Eggman captured him & Venice.

Things worked out but on top of how awkward it is to mention both his sons weren't planned Sonic has some bad memories thanks to the base this all started with. Jet doesn't know this & is about to learn the hard way not to mess with a certain family of hedgehogs.(He should be very lucky Jules didn't find out)

Day 7 was newborn/birthing-labor

Here's Mephiles helping Venice get onto the bed to meet his new half brother.

The rest of the family is in the room off-camera & coming over to see the new baby. Friends(Rouge helped but left the room after everything was ok) are waiting to come see cause they want to give Sonic's family & adopted family time to see the baby first.

Venice is excited to see his new brother, his dads are glad everything went ok since Sonic struggled a little & Sonic is just glad to be here safe with his sons after everything that's happened in his life.

It's been a long journey but Silver is here, when this all started Sonic was a single mom learning he was pregnant & Eggman making things worse. Now he's the mother of two with both fathers of his sons in his life & love/care about their family. The family still has some struggles but they're safe & a happy family.

Posing & stuff was a little awkward, I was also in a hurry when I drew this cause I wanted to finish up because I was heading off to visit my dad for the weekend.

With luck next time I try to work on this ahead of time if it happens again.(Next time I'm drawing the twins)

Day 6 was contractions/backache

I mistakenly drew him in labor but hey contractions are likely hitting him soon

Crescent doesn't know what to do & is internally panicking(luckily the Shadow, Rouge & the others can help)

Also Sonic was originally going to have a Christmas reindeer on his sweater(warped a little thanks to his baby bump) but I decided to just leave it as a plain one but the old sketch is still there

Friends & family are visiting Sonic, his husbands & Venice for a gathering close to Christmas. Sonic went to bring some coffee that had been prepared earlier, Knuckles & the others are a little worried since Sonic is close moving around & carrying stuff while in his 9th month of pregnancy. Sonic unfortunately started having contractions while in the kitchen before his water eventually broke after leaving & on his way back to the table. A snow storm was suppose to happen soon & it hit when Sonic's family should probably take him to the hospital. He was rushed upstairs for the delivery so Venice, Hip, Argyle & Lara wouldn't see what was going on.(Well so some of the others wouldn't see too just for privacy but mostly so the kids don't see)

Dialogue (I tried to match colors to characters but might be off especially since my laptop's screen has issues with lighting/color tones, not helped by the what color theme you have the site set to) Tails: Sonic are you ok? Knuckles: Be careful carrying that jug of coffee. You're close to your due date. Sonic: *In pain and shaking as he tries not to fall to his knees* M-My water broke... Shadow: S-Shit and the snow storm started up! Rouge: Get Sonic upstairs, I'll do what I can to help!

For whatever reason even though Shadow likely knows medical stuff due to probably helping with Maria I made Rouge the local nurse/medic of the team. It's mostly in RPs with my boyfriend but for some reason I allowed her to some how have a medical license & is the one her friends trust to give them checkups if needed or medical advice.

I know Sonic & his friends' birthdays fandom wise are when the game that introduced them came out but for some reason I wanted Silver to have a winter birthday. By chance I learned the Japanese release of 06 was December 21st so Silver gets Japan's release date & Venice gets the US's release date of November 14.(Since Venice is based off a prototype of Silver)

This is also based on an RP I did with my boyfriend(same RP that inspired day 5's pic) that used an old version of my Lost Prince AU.(This bit & day 5 are also in the current ver though) Knuckles, Rouge, Lara, Chuck, Manic & Sonia(for some reason Aleena was missing from this RP ignoring a mention of the version that was Zonic's mom, also dunno why Tails wasn't there) were visiting Sonic, Venice, Shadow & Mephiles during the winter. At some point the power went out, Shadow got some candles out & Sonic brought premade coffee out(Venice helped him, Crescent technically took his place for this) only to go into labor as the snow storm Rouge heard was going to happen that day started up. Power came on some time after Sonic had Silver & after an incident with Jules(this has been changed & Jules came with everyone else) as well as Knuckles's relative(boyfriend's OC) came to check on things.

Made a few sketches for pride month, kind of started out with a comic were Silver comes out to his mom as bisexual along with a pic of Blaze after telling her dad then decided to draw everyone at a pride parade & showing their pride

Everyone here is kind of based on my own ideas for the characters especially Mephiles since anything involving him has to do with the version I made for him for post-06 reboot. Also some stuff is in color(Blaze's forehead gem, Cosmo's necklace, Amy's headband, Sonic's hair clip, ghost aura stuff) cause it seemed fitting due to the meanings behind the colors on the pride flag.(Like purple for soul)

Like the text says Blaze told her dad & he made her a frog hat to support her. He's a nice/friendly guy that cares a lot, it's unfortunate that Blaze's late mom was so terrible & left with Blaze for her own intentions.

Rouge & Knuckles at pride, I was a little worried about how well I got Rouge's bisexual flag makeup. I eventually fixed up the lipstick & added matching earrings. Knuckles unintentionally looks like a pirate cause I can't draw his hat at angles. So yeah my version of Knuckles & Rouge are bi, Knuckles use to date Sonic(in my ver) & Rouge has some interest in women in the past.(Especially Topaz at one point)

Here's Blaze & Silver, Silver has a bi flag cardigan. Pretty much at some point the two realized together they're bi. They eventually told their parents(well Blaze's mom is gone so she only told her dad) & they luckily have supportive families.

Surge isn't in my Lost Prince stuff but I thought she & Amy were cute together in the fanart people made. I also think Metal was interesting with Amy, at some point gets with her in the future in my Lost Prince AU. Metal at some point stops working for Eggman & tries to make their own identity after a talk with Sonic especially since they were becoming more sentient. Metal wasn't sure what he wanted but eventually figured things out.

The context of the sign is that this is meant to be Tails, Cosmo(revived as a plant/mobian chipmunk hybrid) & Cream when they're older & in their teens or later. The time skip is mostly cause at the moment Cream is pretty young in present day, Tails is too but he's slightly older. I guess you could say Tails & Cosmo had a puppy love or something then things got serious when they were older when Cosmo returned then later Cream joined them.

Cream is pretty accepting of who she's into, I dunno what Cosmo is into(I guess technically bi since she's dating Tails & later Cream when Cream joined the couple), Tails I think maybe straight but I dunno. At the very least Tails is supportive of his friends & brother.

Context for this is just I wanted to add Vanilla & her late spouse so them from the future. Added Vector cause him & Vanilla are kinda cute so he's her relationship from the future. So Vanilla's late partner is my OC Cake who despite willing to be called a dad by their kids(Cream & at some point Sonic cause I like the idea of the rabbits adopting him) & only them, Cake was nonbinary. The rabbit family is pretty accepting of people.

Decided to bring in Gadget & Zero/Infinite, the guy in the corner is Zero's late dad who I'll explain at a late point

And then there's these three. I'm not entirely sure what my thoughts on Shadow & Mephiles are, at some point I think I realized demisexual felt right for Shadow. Like I said before any of my thoughts on Mephiles are specifically for the version I made of him for post-reboot in Sonic 06. I was originally thinking of giving him the male gay pride flag but given what I've done with him in Lost Prince AU I kinda realized he fits in with demisexual too. While my version of Sonic identifies as male he likes dressing in whatever he wants & isn't exactly gender-conforming.

Sonic mostly dressed up for pride & tied a pride flag to his neck like a cape. For some reason Mephiles is the only one I tried making designs for on his outfit.

Here's a cropped version of the comic. Pretty much Silver & Blaze realized they were bisexual, at some point Silver got the courage to tell his mom & later his dads.*

For some context Silver's mom is male & in a relationship with men*, he's pretty accepting so Silver doesn't need to worry much. However his worries are understandable because of being around Blaze a lot & seeing how her mom treated her. Blaze's mom was strict & caused a lot of issues that Blaze is still recovering from. Blaze left with Silver & Venice at some point leading to meeting her dad & becoming estranged from her mom. Her mom is gone now but as said Blaze is still recovering. Silver's family(along with Blaze's dad) understand & reassure Silver, Venice & Blaze that the three are accepted/safe.

*I dunno if the marriage is legal at best I know Silver's dad & his mom's marriage is legal. Venice's(Venice is Silver's half brother) dad went missing for a few years(Eggman was behind it) & ended up joining the relationship after being rescued/talking things out. Venice's dad was able to be part of the wedding as another groom but I dunno if this counts as official/legal by human standards.(I guess technically official by Mobian standards)

Day 4 was fear & insecurities/baby bump, this post is for the first one

I said Sonic's pregnancy with Venice was sad cause the dad wasn't there(because of Eggman) but the early stages of his pregnancy with Silver were a bit sad too.

It's early into Sonic & Venice living with Shadow, while things are going well both Sonic & Venice are struggling a little still. Venice(who at the time this happened is at daycare) is scared to leave his mom thanks to Eggman hurting them & the fact Sonic left him with Vanilla in a moment were he was at his lowest. Sonic is still struggling with trauma from Eggman hurting him(along with struggling with his lack of eyesight) & past issues finally surfacing because he kept pushing some of them back.

After calming down Sonic admits he's scared he's failing Venice & unborn Silver as a mom. Sonic has a lot of insecurities thanks to past trauma, putting a facade on because of how people see him as a hero(Here & here for some posts were I explain them some) & just a lot of other issues that come from being on his own for a little too long. He has friend/family that care/help out but Sonic feels like a burden that causes anyone he gets close to to end up getting hurt eventually.(This has led to him pushing away or even never pursuing people he had romantic feelings for in the past, it's why he broke up with Knuckles)

Shadow can't help but get emotional over this, he's understood some of Sonic's feelings & also feels guilt for not being there until the night Sonic was at his worse. He never realized how much Sonic suffered & wishes he could done more sooner. The week after this happened Shadow was able to get Sonic in for a session with his(Shadow's) therapist before being assigned his(Sonic's) own as well as get Venice counseling/therapy. It wouldn't fix everything nor fix things right away but it was a step towards recovering.

Redrawing this for day 4 kind of made me think of a pic(LINK) I saw a while back. I guess technically my Sonic & Shadow are this but Sonic doesn't lash out. The idea of Shadow getting better while Sonic got worse is kind of different too for my thing.

Shadow while having issues still has been learning to recover & heal but Sonic has gotten worse because he tried to push his issues to the side until he broke. Sonic did his best to be there for Shadow & others, now Shadow is doing his best to help Sonic finally get the help he needs but has denied until now.

The second pic/pic on the right is after Shadow unknowingly rescued Mephiles & eventually allowed to stay with Shadow & Sonic while recovering.(Along Mephiles getting to spend time with Venice & get to know him since Mephiles is Venice's bio dad that was trapped the day Sonic ended up pregnant with Venice)

It's only been a few months since Sonic & Venice moved in with Shadow. Shadow & Sonic were engaged at this point while planning a wedding before the end of Sonic's pregnancy because Shadow wants his new family to use the resources he has thanks to GUN.(Such as better health insurance & stuff) While Sonic & Venice still have struggles they're doing better because Shadow helped them.(Especially thanks to taking them to therapy)

At the moment in this Sonic & Venice are asleep, Shadow came back from work & Mephiles is up still because he was helping while Shadow was gone as well as get use to being free again. Shadow despite allowing Mephiles to stay is hesitant because of the events from before the world was rebooted in the events of 06. Mephiles understands because he hates that version of himself due becoming a better version & getting the memories of the other him back.

The two hang out on a balcony area to talk about everything. Shadow admits he is worried about the future. He knows despite he & Sonic having mutual romantic feelings Shadow has taken things pretty fast due to having a child on the way & worrying for Sonic's health. I know I sound like a broken record(this needs to be mentioned & I also forgot where I was going with any of this I'm sorry) but Shadow though has managed start making up for his mistakes & grow closer to Sonic isn't over the fact his struggles with his feelings with Sonic led to not being able to help Sonic sooner. If he had been willing to listen to Sonic & Venice wouldn't have been hurt by Eggman, Sonic wouldn't be permanently injured & Venice wouldn't blame himself for being too small/young to save his mom.(Also given he's 3-4 years old & Sonic tried to keep him safe he's inexperienced with fighting)

Mephiles understands his worries & talks about his own worries along with the guilt from his past self's actions & not being there for Sonic & Venice despite having no control over that because Eggman trapped him. I'm not sure how to explain this especially since I've been working on typing this post on & off for a few days.(I also tried to cut down on some text but it didn't work) I've also been repeating myself a lot & need to move on from typing this.

The point is that Shadow & Mephiles talked things out, Mephiles helped Shadow out with his worries & started to bond. This led to Shadow talking to Sonic about Mephiles when he finally went to visit see Iblis & Elise. When he returned Shadow & Sonic talked to him about the idea of trying to make a relationship work between the three of them which Mephiles & Sonic talked about once or twice a long time ago.(Because Mephiles managed to get so close to Sonic before disappearing Sonic admitted his feelings about both & they talked about the idea of if he had to choose one eventually or the possibility the three could be together) Thanks to all this/talking things out Shadow with some help changes some things to the wedding which is how Sonic got two husbands.

They're still working things out but they're doing better & understand better that they can lean on each other.

This took way too long to type out & I dunno if I'm on topic anymore. Admittedly I know that the theme of the day was fears/insecurities about the pregnancy but I turned it into the pregnancy making them have to admit to each other their fears/insecurities caused by past events that make them worry about being parents & the future.

I took a little to long to return to this, I was catching up on other shit

Day 5 was baby kicks/horny & or pregnancy sex

I drew Mephiles & Sonic relaxing on the bed while feeling Silver kick

I don't actually know when this takes place but I'm just going to say it's after Mephiles becomes part of the family because it might be awkward if Sonic let him rest on the bed with him & feel the baby move if this was before the conversation about being a throuple.(I dunno what to call it cause I realized it might be weird to call them a threesome outside of sex)

Mephiles is just enjoying interacting with his stepson(baby Silver) & Sonic is just enjoying having Mephiles back in his life while being with the two hedgehogs he(Sonic) loves.(Still recovering from the fact he had to accept Mephiles might have been dead when Venice was born) This is Mephiles's first time dealing with Sonic's pregnancy until years later when Shadow, Mephiles & Sonic have Venice & Silver's sisters. Mephiles gets to be there for Venice now & gets to know what it's like to raise a baby since Silver is coming in a few months.(I dunno where I'm going now)

I've been working a little on Mephiles's post time-reboot design a little & tried to make his arm markings look a little like his crystal form but might need to work on that more. He doesn't need inhibitor rings but decided he wear some that help him hide his crystal form. He can control it but it's best to be careful & maybe conserve power.

I dunno why but I find this pic a little funny, not because Mephiles remembers who Silver was in the old reboot(to be fair Mephiles hates that version of himself so is on Silver's team for real this time) but because this while part of my Lost Prince stuff is based of an RP with my boyfriend using an old version of the Lost Prince AU.

The only context is that this takes place after a now freed(from No Zone prison) Mephiles finally finds Sonic while Sonic, Venice & Shadow were having an outing to a meadow near their house. After everything got explained Mephiles & Shadow agreed to share Sonic(he was flustered but happy to be with both). After that scene it cut to Mephiles & Sonic relaxing/talking on Sonic & Shadow's bed while feeling Silver move around/kick while Shadow is doing something.(Likely work or updating plans for the wedding)

Day 13 was mimic, my only excuse is that this is some how my otp3 & an excuse to draw the three together. So the funny thing if that Mephiles's design(at least coat wise) is based on an old outfit design I had for Shadow before making it so he didn't look like a vampire(I have no idea why I gave it to him)
