So, yeah, it’s the exact same puzzle as the first hospital.  Meoshi asks Saki if she remembers how to solve it.

So they recall what Urabe had said when they were first solving the puzzle and use that info to solve it again.

Hell yeah!

Saki is excited, but Meoshi seems distracted.  After asking him what’s up, he says this:

AWWWWW!!  I am totally reading this like a video gamer’s way of asking someone out (in?) on a date and I LOVE IT!

Option Time!  “Maybe… something other than games?” or “Yeah, let’s do it!”  I swear, if any of you pick the first option, I will hunt you down and smack you upside the head.  Maybe when they get further into their relationship, but for now YOU BEST PICK THAT SECOND OPTION!

Meoshi is surprised that she would see it as fun and is just so happy and the two are adorakble as they talk about the fun they are going to have together.

Right.  Time to move on.

JUST WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?!

So, yeah, just like all the other places, it is the exact same as the first hospital.  I think the main point for this room and the last one was so we are able to have nice flashbacks of when the group first solved these same puzzles before.  It’s sad to see Urabe being revealed as the traitor again, but it is kind of a bitter-sweet feeling since those can be considered nice memories as well of the group bonding.  

But, just as Meoshi is about to cut all the wires, Hogstein suddenly shows up for a surprise visit.  

I thought things were going rather too smoothly. *sighs heavily*

Well, sucks to be you, doesn’t it? XP

MEOSHI~

…Crap.

…Oh shnap!

However, despite that logic, Kouta does realize that maybe Hogstein might not have wanted the failure to have come so easily and lowers the wire cutters.  Hogstein, who had grown silent (for a change), laughs and says that if they fail to see whether he is lying or not, all the hostages die.

…Meoshi…  I don’t know if you know this, but…  I love you.

Meoshi makes the bargain that, if they clear this game, then everyone is to be set free.  However, Hogstein says that they were supposed to beat all the games, which they had screwed up on day 3.  Though the friends will be returned, the hostages are to remain with him.

Rage Time!  I don’t think this matters affection-raising wise, but I am personally going to decide to restrain myself.  This is a mind game that Meoshi and Hogstein are playing, after all.  Besides, I haven’t had enough of seeing Meoshi being a bad-a#@. X)

He continues by saying that, if Hogstein is so confident in his success, then he should just agree to the bet.  Hogstein is silent, so Saki presses him further.  If they succeed, their friends and hostages must be set free.  Hogstein finally agrees, but not before reminding them that time is still passing.

So they start and Saki begins searching through the blue journal.  However, Meoshi says that it is not necessary.  He walks over to the bookshelf, beckons Saki over, and taps a book. The bookshelf slides over to the side.

OMG MEOSHI YOU ARE A GENIOUS! XD

Of course this makes Hogstein mad and Saki confused.  They still had to beat the game, right?  Apparently, that is not exactly the case.

Meoshi takes Saki’s hand and the two leave through the door.

Oh...

WE JUST SYNCED! XD

Sitting on the throne was none other than Count Hogstein.

This is… incredible.  I thought he would be screaming his head off or something like that.  But no, he is very chill and is amazed that they had won.  He asks what they want, and they ask for the freedom of their friends, the hostages, and themselves.  He easily agrees and remove the cloth from the cage.  Inside is all the hostages, Shidou, Wakasa, Shirabe, and Urabe.

Though everyone is happy, there is one person hanging in the back by themselves; Urabe.

Meoshi and Saki sit down together, super exhausted.  Due to all the relief and tiredness from the past several days of craziness, Saki falls asleep while leaning against him.  She hears him saying something, but doesn’t catch it because she is already long gone into dream world.

Three days have passed since the end of the games.  Saki is in the hospital and she is recovering just fine.  She didn’t know what happened to the castle she fell asleep because she had gotten another fever and was out for a few days.  She is unsure as to what happened to Hogstein or what the media had to say about the whole ordeal.  All she knows is that everyone was admitted to the same hospital (which makes sense). She isn’t allowed to leave, but once she is she is going to check on everyone and find out what happened.  She knew where one person was, though; Meoshi.  That is because they are in the same rooms, a curtain separating the two. The nurse draws the curtain back and the two are able to see each other.

The nurse informs them that breakfast will be ready soon and leaves.  Saki asks how Meoshi is doing and he seems to be doing fine.  He had more injuries than her, had even needed stitches, reminding Saki how much he had protected her.  She asks if he is nervous (what is she talking about?) and he says yes, which relieves her because she thought maybe he had forgotten what he said yesterday.  We get a nice little flashback of when Meoshi woke up and she tells him that they are at a hospital.  As she is about to call for a nurse for him, he stops her.

SO THAT’S WHAT HE WANTED TO TELL!  AAAAH!

So apparently he had woken up, said that, and then fell back asleep.  She asks if she remembered what she said, and he says no.

You adorable dork you!

Saki is about to tell him, but he asks if he can say it again so that her response fits better. Aww!!

He then proceeds to say that, if she would accept him, he would give her his PlayBox Jump (I guess that’s a handheld controller).

Heart… shattering…  I can’t… handle this…

Saki takes it from him.

This makes Meoshi very happy, of course.  Saki can’t help but bring up again how surprised he was when he had first suddenly said he liked her.  He had been worried because, if they had released her first, he would never see her again.  She says that she would have come back even if that was the case.  Hearing that, he is relieved and laughs, saying how he had stressed over nothing.

SHIRABE!

GUYS!

So turns out they were released and they apparently have some work to do.  Since Meoshi and Saki have been out, they don’t know what’s going on so they explain it to them.  Apparently Hogstein had escaped and they never got to learn who he was.  Both Shirabe and Shidou will be working on getting to the bottom of the mystery while Wakasa will be catching up on all the idol work that he has been missing.

Mitarashi and Urabe are still in the hospital since their wounds were worse than the other three.  Shidou says that, once Urabe is released, he is going to be questioned by police.  Hopefully he will be able to help them figure out more about Hogstein and the whole game-thing he set up.  Shidou continues to say that they should rest.  Although they need to give statements as well, he will be able to hold them off for a little bit.

OMG Wakasa NOT YOUR ROUTE!

Saki informs him that she made sure that they had a room together so she could be there when Meoshi woke up.  Meoshi, of course, blushes madly while Wakasa continues to whine because he had to share a room with Shirabe.  Shirabe says it wasn’t the best experience for him, either.

ROFLOL!

Saki is glad to hear that Mai is fine and Shirabe promises that one of these days he will bring her in to see her, so long as Meoshi doesn’t mind.  He doesn’t mind, but he seems a bit shakey about his response.  Shidou asks if he doesn’t like kids, making Saki recall the time that Meoshi had walked in, seen Mai, and almost immediately bolted out. Meoshi explains that it’s not that he doesn’t like kids, but that he is afraid that he will do the wrong thing and hurt her feelings.  Shirabe assures him that it is fine.  Wakasa even mentions that he can talk to her about games since she seems to like them. This makes Meoshi feel better about it.

Saki feels proud of how much Meoshi has changed.  He spent a lot of his life avoiding people, but now he is doing the opposite.

She knocks on the door but no one answers.  She walks in carefully, thinking that he is asleep, but instead catches him hiding under the blankets playing a game.  Saki gets mad at him since the doctor says that Meoshi needs to be resting.

The only thing I love more than this image is what he says.

And then the two things that follow afterwards.

Saki, giving up, sits on the bed and sighs.  Meoshi looks at her and says that he is playing the game that he had mentioned to her before.  The one he wanted the two to play together.  He hands the game to her and asks if she wants to play.  She can’t stay mad at him when he looks so happy.  So she agrees, reminding him that he was going to teach her how to play.

ADORKABLE~!!!

 And that ends Meoshi’s route, everyone!  Thanks for joining me on that crazy, exciting ride!  It’ll be a little bit before I start up the next route, but Spring Break is coming up real soon so it shouldn’t take me too long to get going.
