This guy is legit the best Ghetsis I’ve followed. Like, for reals. We only threaded maybe….once I think. That was it, back when I was a meek little thing and unable to actually voice the fact that I really wanted to thread.

But for reals I totally wanna thread with your Ghetsis I’m just unsure HOW he would run into a legendary sized giant noivern. I honestly think he wouldn’t take too kindly to an unruly dragon with telepathy either, especially one who thinks himself a king and ABOVE most humans.

Okay but seriously I have little idea on the whole Ghetsis thing, because admittedly I am utter garbage and never played black and white. I know I’m a failure as a pokemon fan. So I only know what I’ve read, and have to go on piecemeal information when it comes to his plot.

THANKFULLY, my character is an OC pokemon, and as such it does not matter if I know the whole story arc behind Ghetsis because he is unaware of it at all.

But you have wonderful writing, a talent for description and a beautiful ability to capture his thoughts. I love it. Seriously, I do.

As for OOC, we haven’t really…well, talked. At all I don’t think. But from what I’ve gathered you’re hella passionate. Super protective of your friends, and quick to anger if someone’s spreading the hate.

I keep seeing the writer reblog prompts and memes asking what you think of their muse, their portrayal, their writing, and most of all why.

Most readers will say that the best aspect of their Ghetsis is making him seem human. And he does come across as human. But then again, he's supposed to be human- he's not a Pokémon, he's not a robot, he has good and bad traits just like anyone else and just because he's an antagonist doesn't mean he's supposed to portrayed as a monster, as a demon, as someone who can't feel. Ghetsis is human and it's important to be able to see that part of him that makes him exactly that.

...But that's not what I think is the best aspect of their Ghetsis.

Ghetsis isn't just arrogant and condescending. He's smart. He's clever. You want to argue with him, to hammer his head with your views because you know he's wrong, you know he's an asshole and that his views are messed up and you want to fix that because you want to believe he's redeemable and that you can reason with him, but he'll always manage to somehow blow a hole into your arguments because you can't prove anything you're saying with hard evidence and speaking only from what you've been taught- and eventually the more you interact the more you start getting frustrated, angry, desperate, because he's slowly picking apart your statements one by one, twisting his words just right, just enough to make you doubt, to make you think, and then the scariest part becomes the fact that maybe, just maybe, some of the things he says are right. And you're confused and terrified because you start to believe him.

Because that man- that particular portrayal- is exactly what he says he is.

☄ - My opinion of you

As a roleplayer, that’s a quality blog we have here. I haven’t read too much of your OCs (tho I’ve been looking at Valerie lately and this other also seems really cool), but as I said, I barely know Ghetsis and still I enjoy a lot reading your plots (let’s be honest the Nati one killed and buried me). I don’t know if I’d like Ghetsis only knowing him as the game character he is (well I have a great weakness for villains so maybe it would’ve been enough), but that fact of making him more human and still being accurate to the character himself has made me like him a lot.

Quiet and a tad on the selfish side, but its okay since he’s still only a boy. He doesn’t talk often but he does have a tendency to ask a lot of questions when he does.

Personal Head canon:

He likes to snatch up items that take his interest, even if they don’t belong to him. He still doesn’t fully understand the concept of property and theft.
