#mentally draining

Can we just take a minute to talk about how mentally/emotionally draining it is to work a job you hate? Going to work feels like the air is being sucked out of your lungs, but you have to paste a smile on your face, use up all your emotional energy just maintain your work ethic for a job that’s crushing your soul.

No one talks about how fucking mentally draining it is to watch all your friends be glowing up, to watch them actually going outside and doing things, to watch them actually achieving things, while you're stuck at home doing what, writing a stupid book? Scrolling on your phone? No one talks about how mentally draining it is, when you have to watch all your friends live their lives, while you stay at home, too exhausted to go outside, just on devices, or doing something that can be perceived as 'productive', but in this day and age it's not productive, because there's always someone out there doing something more, something better and greater, so you just seem like a total fucking loser doing nothing with your life, while all your friends are growing up and your just stuck behind.
