"gimme, gimme, gimme" ((this phrase feels extremely out of character so imagine it's being generated by a microsoft sam voice))
45. A thank you noteĀ
Ryuko's phone buzzes at four o' clock on the dot. Ze gives hir phone a quizzical look; had ze turned on an alarm on hir phone without realizing it?
But when ze flips it open, ze scowls at it. It's a text message from yet another annoying customer. Couldn't they get their coffee somewhere else?
Inumuta isĀ especiallyĀ bothersome. He demands that his coffee be brought to his cave of wonders; aka his computer room, which he refuses to leave unless it absolutely necessary. And RyukoĀ hasĀ to take it to him. Apparently when he removed an extremely nasty computer virus from ze's laptop, ze is in his debt.Ā
[Text]: I need a soy latte with a double shot of expresso, and quickly. I'm pulling an all nighter with this new program I'm making.
There's no please or thank you, and Ryuko grumbles the entire time ze is making the latte. Ze thanks hir coworker for covering while ze is gone, and heads over to his place.Ā
Ze hasn't ever been inside Inumata's place; ze doesn't think many people have. When ze delivers the coffee it's always a quick exchange of money and coffee, and the door slamming in hir face. But today ze is doing something a little different. Ze quickly knocks twice, leaving the coffee in front of his door with a sticky note on it.Ā
Once again, thank you for helping me with my computer problems. And thank you, truly, for being the most ANNOYING CUSTOMER EVER.Ā
Congrats you beat Uzu.
Sincerely, the person whoĀ MIRACULOUSLY doesn't spit in your coffee.Ā Ā
