17: Do you think you’re justified in giving other people art advice? Noooooooo…. I mean i could try to help out a beginner level person, and i might think i know how to help someone, but i don’t think i’ve ever felt like i can explain those things very well. So i generally don’t.

19: What is the most difficult thing for you to draw? animals are difficult. probably animals. 

21: Do you like to challenge yourself? I like small challenges. Like, doing something the same way i always would but paying attention to a specific kind of detail. If I try to just make the Best Thing Ever All At Once I think i’d get discouraged…

23: Do you draw more fanart, or more original art? Usually I draw way more original art. But when i’m really into something (cough voltron cough cough) you can expect to see more fanart. 

25: Do you like to draw in silence, or with music? Almost always music. But since i listen to the same like 10 songs over and over for a long time sometimes i go looking for new ones and get distracted… in which case i’d rather just turn it off. (whether i actually do is another matter…)

27: For digital artists: how many layers does a typical piece require? Let’s see. there’s the base layer (1) background layer (2) sketch layer (3) line layer (4) duplicate of the line layer for effects (5) skin layer (6) hair layer (7) accessory/eyes/mouths layer (8, but sometimes the same as the hair layer),  half the clothing (9) the other half of the clothing (10). so, ten, more or less.
