22. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

This would vary greatly depending on the day, and the last events Ayano has gone through. She doesn’t have any motivation to do anything- she’d get as much entertainment out of drawing or writing anything as she would staring at the wallpaper in her classroom.

But to occupy the time, there are a few things I could see her doing. She could be drawing her Senpai’s face to try and see if it could draw any emotions out of her- to make her feel that yearning and craving she adores about being around him. She could be scribbling a few frenzied words to the demons responsible for her curse to begin with to try and draw out her emotion of rage  for making her this way as she begins to understand that feeling. She would draw things that could scare her, write things that would make her sad- anything to try and draw out what little emotions she has now. 

If none of it succeeds, she has no reason to do anything. Maybe start pressing the pencil against her skin if she’s been left there for too long. Just to remind herself that she’s alive.

“Unfortunately yes.”

Soubi didn’t quite understand why he was here, but there were a lot of things that Soubi didn’t understand, so that was alright.

He assumed that it had something to do with Sensei’s speech, or class, or whatever he did when he took Soubi along and spoke in front of lots of people. Soubi didn’t know; when he was outside of the incredibly isolated Seven Voices, he didn’t pay a whole lot of attention to what Ritsu did, which enticed many scoldings from the man.

And... A scolding he was going to get, because Soubi was currently wandering the halls of an elementary school, having gotten swept away in the crowd from Sensei’s side and not really having bothered to return. It was interesting--this place looked nothing like his school, and he garnered the attention of many of the students passing by, presumably for all the bandages on his exposed skin and the fact that he looked so out of place.
