Blood, blood everywhere. The bed was soaked in it, the once beige sheets turned an ugly maroon with the sticky substance. The girls, seven of them, four of them blonde, one ginger, and the other two brunettes, lay in a heap on the floor. Not that they looked like women anymore; body parts rarely looked human. Instead they looked like so much meat, discarded, useless.

Mendex clung to the pieces he'd kept, burying his face in the shoulder of a woman he'd killed not an hour before. The blood covering every inch of the room was cooling rapidly and the naked man began to shiver, but that was hardly a concern. He just held his Lia tighter and tried to sob quietly.

He couldn't find a woman with her beautiful golden eyes, so the hazel of one of the blondes' had to do. The slender hands of the red-head on the long arms of one of the brunettes made for a perfect apendege to wrap his fingers around as he held on for dear life, trying to hide from himself, bury his evil beneath his Aralia's skin. The chest of another blonde and the legs of the final brunette completed to doll, and the unused pieces were pushed haphazardly* aside.

Mendex clung to his doll, and cried. "Lia," he whispered, black eyes haunting in there setting of blood, the thick lace of his black lashes blinking slowly in an attempt to slow the tears. The wetness on his cheeks went unwiped, leaving the rivers carved through the blood untouched. Had his doll been alive, she would have screamed at the sight. "Please don't leave me. Please, please, please..."

It had become his mantra over the past year. "Please," he would beg, when strangers shut their doors to him. "The wars is over!" they would yell, shoving him out of their stables. "Go home!" Or when he took a woman at night, "please" when she screamed. "Please" when she begged him to stop. "Please" when she died, and he was alone again.

Dex didn't do well without his Aralia.
