I don't just mean using multiple labels, though that's also okay and a thing. I mean it's okay to call yourselves both "alters" and "headmates." It's okay to use some medical terms alongside non-medical terms. It's okay to consider each other separate people and still prefer to refer to yourselves as "facets" or "parts."

-Outside of big races, there were always small races and parties out in the desert. Hurls and I would go together and smoke and hold hands and share a flask and watch fireworks and it smelled like hot dirt and smoke and mmnnnnn

-the first time I saw her race. The way her eyes lit up and the way she grinned and yelled when she pulled ahead and she was brighter than the sun and so so beautiful

-When she’d get frustrated working on something in the garage and dramatically groan and throw herself on the couch and pout for like five minutes before leaping back up like a goddamn anime protagonist who is determined to win and just.
