I’d heard the AI boom was driving up the price, but damn! Bad enough to have AI foisted on me at every turn, and Google crashing if I don’t scroll below the AI crap fast enough, and being surrounded by a world where every damn person running to AI for everything down to getting dressed in the morning AND people claiming they they “made” something just because they can spew out a prompt. NOW I’m being priced out of using my camera!!!

FFS, why do I have to be hit by a perfect storm of this, gas prices, and the rest while ALSO suddenly having a bunch more new expenses in my life, AND at the exact same time I am hitting my lifetime financial low point with no prospect of improving???

Okay, so now I need to ration taking photos too….

You are going to say I can just reuse the card after moving pics to the computer. Nope.

Look, I need to have my pics stored multiple places. I already have to constantly delete pics en masse from my memory challenged computer. I have one external hard drive die, taking the pics on it with it. I can’t even afford a new drive now. I am stuck with all my photos backed up with damn Amazon, knowing if I stop being able to pay I’ll lose ‘em. I already have pics that now only exist in the stupid cloud! I don’t exactly trust any individual place pics are stored, and want them in as many places as possible

When I could afford to have physical prints, I didn’t worry as much. I miss prints sooooooooooooooooo much. (even if the photo albums take up a lot of space) I feel I need as many backups as possible, and the cards are like old fashioned negatives, the original copy I never want to part with.

UGH! See, if I were rich printing most my photos and overkill in backing them up would be near the top of my “to do” list! **

1. Cold Snap Record

I love his makeup. I love his outfit. I love how he looks. Oh, hi, Lucifer. I know, I’m partial to blues and purples and greens, but like...This card is just so beautiful. I think it’s my second favorite card artwork in the whole game.

The story is also great, especially for an SSR memory card. You blatantly get to flirt with Barbatos and it’s cute. Oh, hi, Lucifer.

2. Let’s Go Stargazing!

He look! My three favorite characters in the game all on one card! Team Solomon ftw. They all look cool! It’s just a fun card.

True, you don’t get to flirt with Barbatos that much, but it’s still nice getting to hang out with all three of them in the card. That’s pretty much how I think my MC would spend most of their time, so it’s great getting to see it happen.

3. A Gothic Party

I don’t experience sexual attraction, but I’m sure if I did this is where it would happen. Do other aces feel that way? Like it’s intense aesthetic attraction and you’re like oh, this is close. Still not it, but it’s close? Barbatos in a corset. With that look on his face?! I wish this was an unlockable outfit, because it’s so cool.

The story...Didn’t care for it too much. The artwork is what gives this such a high ranking.

4. Tea Served by a Butler

This artist. I love this artist. The way they draw Barbatos is always amazing. I love that smirk on his face. He’s in his demon form, which you all know I love. Tea!? TEA! I love tea. Barbatos is just so cool.

The story is fun. He gets so passionate about what he does and I’d just be happy sitting their for hours as he lectures about it. Not in the ranking, but he apologizes in a text message for his lecture and it’s like no, Barbatos. Please keep going. I want to learn more. I don’t care if you repeat yourself. Just keep talking. Keep being passionate.

5. Island of Dreams

My little crocodile! He’s so cute. I love him. We need more pictures of Barbatos wearing glasses. Diavolo is more front and center, but it’s still a fun picture.

The story, though, is great. Barbatos isn’t in it for most of it, which is why this is a lower ranking. However, when he is in it. It’s so sweet. He doesn’t want to risk hurting anyone so he hides. And it’s just...Barbatos. Stay with us.

6. Horror Campaign

Um...Hello? I wish we could have unlocked nurse Barbatos because he’s so pretty. The heart on the hat is for how much I love him. He’s just so cute. I know I’m repeating myself for every picture of him. I simp too much.

The story’s fun, too. I don’t remember it as well, but I liked it. I know it inspired a oneshot from just a brief line he says. And it’s Halloween, so it’s just fun.

7. Gaming 101

He looks so sweet and cute. Also Levi looks super confident, which is nice. It’s just an interesting, unexpected dynamic between those two that I like. Barbatos is also in my second favorite outfit for him, so that’s nice.

The story’s fun, but not too memorable. It’s sweet that he’s trying to find a game for Diavolo. I like that he goes to others when he wants to learn more and does his best to take in the information. I like to think he’s older than everyone, and he definietly has a ton experience in just about everything, but I just love that he’s always learning to learn something from everyone. <3

8. The Secret Dish

I would love to be greeted by him everyday like this. No - I’d love to greet him! He’s very handsome. Nothing too special in terms of Barbatos.

I did love that he prepared the dish with MC in mind. I like to think he purposefully picked a day to cook for everyone on the day where everyone but MC was busy. Sneaky butler is cute and sweet.

9. Lunch at Hell’s Kitchen!

Barbatos is so small in the picture. The polite smile though. I want more Barbatos.

The story was fine, it was focused more on the others and not enough Barbatos. There will never be enough Barbatos.

10. Santa in the House

He’s so cute. I didn’t really consider this a Barbatos card, though.
