Welcome to November! Change is in the air and Mother Nature is working her magic as every leaf falls and each bloom closes. 🍂🍁 We can appreciate the earlier sunsets. Who else likes to snuggle up on the sofa, go for walks and listen to the sound of leaves crunching under our weight, watch the stars on clear nights, holding a cup of hot chocolate to warm their hands? This is our time to catch our breaths before December’s hectic chaos draws near. Let’s appreciate these longer nights and treasure them as our me moments (as I’ve started to name my me time). Nurturing your self is healthy and necessary for your wellbeing; physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Managing your time well this month will make for a happier festive period, if you can accomplish one goal every few days over November (buy a gift of that list for example, then wrap it up the day you bring it home is one less thing to do in December), the kinder the festive season will be. Then, your me moments will be abundant and relaxing as you relish your moment without thinking “I haven’t done this yet.” What’s a me moment? A me moment can grabbing 10 minutes of quiet to meditate. Taking a long bath with the door locked so as not to be interrupted. Setting boundaries and turning off technology for an hour a day. Having a game night with your family with traditional board games. Whatever it is that you find fun and makes you feel good, do that. That way, you will feel refreshed and ready for the joy of December, rather than the madness. Wishing you a blessed November, Cherubs! Enjoy every moment of it.
