King of the Kingdom of Melor, the cursed to be forgotten fifth kingdom. Since he was born he was raised in only the most cutthroat and merciless environment, one that did not leave room for softer emotions or anything deemed as “weakness”. Argento himself has grown to be very cunning and ruthless, doing whatever he deems necessary to achieve his goals and get what he wants, and cares little for the feelings of others he may hurt along the way. He does recognize his behavior as cruel, but with the attitude instilled in him from his older family members and his kingdom's general bitterness towards others and goals of becoming the strongest over all the other countries, it is the only way of thinking he knows. He is intelligent in many areas, most notably battle strategies and is always calculating his next moves carefully. He is entirely unforgiving and unforgivable, but he does have somewhat of a small soft spot only for those he deems the most loyal to him, such as his older sister. His hunger for power and domination has allowed him to recently become the new king, as he managed to beat his father in a duel for the throne. Melor traditionally follows an "upon death" line of succession, but heirs can duel their predecessors for the throne if wanted or needed. Such is the case for Argento, as when he was building up his strength he planned on beating his father to put his plans into full action without his father potentially preventing him. He still recognizes his father is a powerful and strong man to have on his side, so he still keeps him and his sister close for a form of "council" with his plans, as they help him out.

- History, Politics, + Other Info

. The seemingly forgotten fifth kingdom, based off of the metal element.

. Located far away from the four “Alliance” kingdoms(though closer in proximity to Erdennia and Feor) and other countries, so it is hard to come across or travel to.

. In terms of physical size it is pretty average to some of the surrounding countries, and in terms of population size it used to be fairly big too but has been decreasing over the last couple of decades due to the curse placed on it.

. Predominately a patriarchy, as such only men have ruled or been able to.

. Used to be a very prominent kingdom with a powerful influence over neighboring countries, but since the aforementioned curse barely anyone knows or talks about it. No one really knows that much about it if they still remember it, and they are not sure why that is exactly.

. Those with a hunch though say it is because many decades ago the king at the time bumped into this insanely powerful witch in the country Plerus during his travels, and after one moment of sleeping together and finding out his true nature, she cursed him and his entire kingdom to be forgotten.

. The recent kings have started trying to break the curse, first with finding some new allies to trade with. One of these allies is the country Quastril, where both countries feel 'wronged' and mistrusting of others. Melor provides Quastril with materials while they provide them with some of their technology, making Melor secretly the second-most technologically advanced country.

. Their other ally is Feor, providing them with a lot of the metal used in their armor in exchange for their protection in not spilling their secret or talking about them at all. At first they got along fairly well, but overtime Melor started resenting Feor and has in secret built their own army's strength up, so that one day they can take them down and no longer require their protection.

. Aside from Feor they have the strongest and biggest military around, as well as the more advanced one with all their armor and weapons. While they are technically considered allies at the moment, with how Melor provides Feor with a lot of materials to use in their own army, as well as being generally more aggressive and ‘dominant’ than them on the battlefield, there is not one soldier from Melor that doesn’t think they could easily beat Feor in battle if it comes to that point someday.

. While their kingdom has generally been forgotten by most others, and many citizens choosing to move away because of this, those who have remained are very loyal to not just their country but also the royal family. They believe in their plans of conquest and domination, and if they are not already part of the military, they take up other occupation and positions that support it.
