"The Lost Rainbow" is a WiP novel about some of the royal kids from different kingdoms each inspired by the 4 classic elements. It has the main characters being forced to flee their respective kingdoms, as they all end up meeting in the forest. They all decide to work together as they not only try to help solve each other's problems, but become closer together as they discover unexpected truths about their world.
Heyo, I got my first commission in over a year recently and I wanted to share! :D This was drawn by one of my friends, @purfectprincessgirl, of Nate/Brooke~! 🔥💧 I was so excited when she opened up her commissions back in March, that I wanted to go ahead with requesting an idea I had for a while! :3 I am a sucker for soft couple moments, bonus points if they are dressed up fancy, so combine that with a pairing that is so important to me, this commission was really special for me to receive~ X3 I love so much about it, but my favorite parts are their extra detailed wedding suits, and the fact they are gazing lovingly at their rings together, which makes me think this scenario takes place after their wedding(which that thought makes me really happy lol)~ ❤️

Finally I get to share these two!!! 😭 So for a little backstory, in my phone's notes app two years ago, I made a note to list all of the mixed characters from across the four main kingdoms, and realized that from all the possible combinations, I didn't have any Feorian/Arianian or Arianian/Erdennian characters. Although I wasn't sure about creating full-on characters, I thought it could still be fun to design them and think of some simple backstories!
I originally worked on these two in the summer of last year, but told myself I would wait to write out their bios until I got a different project done first. That project ended up taking me until February of this year to finish, and then these bios took me longer than expected to get to and write, too 😅 But they are done and here now, and I am pretty happy with how they turned out! :3 A big shout-out and thanks is due to @littlechaoticwitch, who did help provide some of the ideas and character vibes here! :D

. Family: Feorian mother, Arianian father, no siblings, 1 daughter(1 year old)
. Relationships: Calida-wife(of 4 years)
. Abilities: lightning magic
. Physical Appearance: slightly shorter than average height(despite having tall parents) with an average build that has some softness/chub from birthing a child, slightly curly and pale blonde hair done in a pixie-cut, tan skin, light brown pupil-less eyes, slightly pointy ears, some freckles across her face, right eyebrow piercing, multiple ear piercings(triple lobes and a forward helix on each), a half-sleeve tattoo on her right upper-arm(consisting of different Feorian and Arianian flowers), and glasses
A private tutor for the royal Feorian family. Her parents had met when her father was on vacation in Feor, and felt attracted to each other at first sight. They fell in love the more they talked and hung out, deciding to keep up communication with each other when her father eventually had to go back to Arian. After a while they started a long-distance relationship with each other, that eventually evolved to them settling down in Feor together as they came to marry and have a child together. Growing up as a shy and quiet kid, Elaine always found more comfort with books than with other people, with her spending most of her time at either her local library or at home, reading away and using the stories as an escape from real life. It wasn't until her teenage years that she started to open up more, and it was thanks to some teachers of hers that became her role models that inspired and encouraged her to try making connections with others again. She pursued a post-secondary degree in education, both inspired by her old teachers to become a role model of her own and her own love of learning, which is also where she first met Calida, the woman that would later become the love of her life and wife. Following her education, she worked at a local school while waiting to hear the news of her application to the royal palace, being pleasantly surprised when it eventually got accepted. After her move to Pyromnia, she started her new job as one of the private tutors for all the children of the palace, primarily teaching lessons of history and politics, while her wife took up a job as a royal seamstress. While she has opened up more, she is still a very critical, stubborn, and independent person, hard-working and selfless to the point she often forgets to take proper care of herself. She is also very wise, mature, with good wit and a sense of dry humor that tends to draw people in. There is a softer and caring side of her that is so valued by those who manage to get into her good graces, such as the royal children who see her as one of their favorite tutors and an aunt-like figure. Very observing, she is one of the few people who knows about the crowned prince's secrets, being someone he often turns to when needing someone who talk about them with. Never someone who felt super connected to or focused on her femininity and gender labels and expectations growing up, but she does feel a small connection to it thanks to becoming a mother.

Physical Appearance: tall height with a boxier/straighter build that is a bit thick, long and curly-wavy light green hair with side-bangs, dark brown skin, light brown slit-pupiled eyes that become gold when transformed, slightly pointy ears, long and sharp nails, ears pierced, a memorial tattoo on her left upper-arm(matching with her siblings, consisting of a pawprint with her mother's birth + death years inside and her favorite flowers surrounding it), and heart-shaped glasses
A beauty stylist for the royal Arianian family. Her parents had met when her father was studying abroad in Erdennia, first clicking after meeting late at night in the library during their respective study sessions. They became close enough friends that they kept up communication even after their education was done, though their romance was slow-burning for a couple of years before they finally got together. When it came time for them to settle down together they did so in Erdennia, becoming very surprised and anxious but looking forward to their children when they figured out how many they would be expecting. Sometime after the complicated birth and first couple of years of their lives, tragedy struck the family as their mother died protecting everyone from an attack on their home. Not wanting to stick around with the uncertainty of their safety, their father moved them to his home country of Arian for a fresh start. Despite not having her mother in her life to be a role model for her, Juniper always felt a connection to femininity growing up, loving to play dress up, putting on makeup, and having long hair like her sisters. She felt confident being a girl as a child, though had some issues when she became a teenager which did not get worked through again till her adulthood. Drawing and experimenting with fashion were always things that gave her comfort, with her embracing a soft, cute and girly style with bright colors and fun accessories. When she started professionally studying cosmetology she chose to attend a school in Erdennia, wanting to get in better touch with her Erdennian heritage for a while. During her time in the country, she once came across Ren Plaskett, who eventually and unexpectedly became one of her closest friends. They have a sibling-like relationship where Ren takes more of a protective, older brother-type stance to shield her from some of the pain he had experienced, not wanting anything to happen to one of the few people who ever took a chance on him. He introduced her to witchcraft, which brought her a newfound sense of purpose during this time in her life. When she eventually returned to Arian, her sense of style got noticed by the Arianian royal family, who hired her on to be one of their beauty and fashion stylists. While she has become very confident, she is also a pretty anxious and worrywart type of person who tries to keep the peace, and can be pretty impulsive at times which causes her more trouble than she would like. A sweetheart who may seem silly to some, she is pretty clever and a lot smarter than she is given credit, as she has more of a creative and unique way of looking at the world.
Still trying to get back into my art groove, but this was a drawing idea I've been meaning to get to for a while! It has been a super long time since I last drew something shippy, and specifically since I last drew Hestia/Tyson together(I think the last time was the "Speechless" redraw, from 2023?), which is a shame as I love these two so much 😭 But, here is a drawing I did to give them more love again! ❤️
I have also been wanting to write for these two again for a while, since I had some old ideas connected to the "Speechless" art pieces I made and the "One More Dance" fic @littlechaoticwitch wrote for me once, but I still haven't gotten around to that. This drawing is inspired by a new potential story idea that came up randomly as I was working on this, of the two going to an Apollo concert. Since when I created Apollo I thought of Hestia being one of his fans, and because I have established Apollo's friendship with Nate, I thought I should probably do something with her going to one of his concerts. I imagine this takes place in the future, maybe around a year or so but it's during a point where Hestia and Tyson have gotten closer together. I'm not sure if they are officially dating at this point or have just expressed their feelings for the other, but I thought this could be a cute idea of them having a concert date together~ :3 🎶🎸

One of the things I want to work on this year aside from catching up on some smaller art and story ideas(and the novel proper itself, of course), is to draw out the rest of the magical looks for the Winx Club AU! The fairies have already been drawn thanks to @littlechaoticwitch for commissioning me to draw them a couple of years ago, so that just leaves the witches and wizards! I honestly had a lot of fun designing those ones, so I've always meant to draw them but haven't found the proper time before.
I was thinking of splitting up the drawings, maybe something like these groups?:
. Brooke, Arethusa, Soleil, Skye, Enki
. Eteri, Selene, Rosia, Idalia, Ren
. Ignatius, Caelestis, Argento
. Archer, Castor, Carmelo
I'm not sure when these will all get done(been struggling a bit mental health-wise for a while + having current family drama to work on creative stuff more frequently), but they will be worked on sometime this year for sure!

How did they first meet? They first met sometime in the army, about several months or so after Tyson enlisted
What was their first impression of each other? Hestia didn’t really approve of him much at first with his joking and troublemaking ways, yet Tyson himself was intrigued by her more serious side and low-key in awe of her strength and how she could probably very easily kick his ass
Did any of their friends or family want them to get together? Not at first really, since when they did start liking each other more and thought about getting together, they kept it to just themselves for a while to get used to the new feelings of being in a relationship before telling others
Who felt romantic feelings first? Tyson, since he’s always kind of liked her
Did either of them try to resist their feelings? Tia would be unsure about it for a while since romance for herself was something she never experienced before, so she would take time adjusting to them, but other than that not really
If you had told one of them that the other would be their soulmate, what would they think? Tia would probably think you’re crazy, meanwhile Ty would be pleasantly surprised
What would their lives be like if they had never met? Seeing as they’re both part of the army it would be hard for them to have never met, but Ty would most likely stay causing trouble while Tia would stay mostly the same as she was before

Not going to lie, I've been waiting to draw her portrait since I first put together the birthday list and decided to tackle this art project last year. Tia has always been one of my favorites, and I always enjoy getting to draw and just generally work with her. I did have some trouble when I was doing the sketch for this drawing, but I managed to get it to look somewhat decent. I didn't have many big ideas for her portrait, but I wanted to draw both the silver flame earrings from a previous drawing of her, and a mesh-sleeves top since that was a wardrobe detail for her in her old fashion post. I've been wanting to work with Tia again for a long while, so hopefully I'll be able to get to this other old drawing idea of her soon~

Hello everyone, Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅 I hope everyone who celebrates it has a good day, but if you don't or are not in the Christmas-y spirit this year, I hope you still have a good day too :) I don't have a traditional Christmas drawing for this year, but today is the birthday of King Argento Mercury~! 🎂
For those who don't know or remember, Argento is the main antagonist of the novel! He is the current king of the kingdom of Melor(based on the metal element), a once very powerful and dominating force in the world before they were cursed to be forgotten many decades ago. Argento may be relatively young for a ruler(he's 25), but he has already proven himself more than capable and competent as he has done more work to break his kingdom's curse than any of his previous predecessors have. He is a very cunning, ruthless, and merciless ruler, who has two main goals he is working to achieve: The first to restore his kingdom to its former and an even greater glory, and the second to bring his "rainbow" back to him and make it so she never leaves again.

Happy December, everyone! The birthday portraits project is almost over, which honestly, I am kind of having mixed feelings about! For the most part, I am just really proud of myself for not only choosing a long-term art project to do this year, but for being consistent and not missing any of the days or being late on them! Granted, they are just portraits and they have been pretty spread out throughout the year, but I am happy I was still able to get these up on time, especially during days or periods of time that were really busy or hard on me personally. That being said, while this project has gotten me to draw more than I have during some previous years, I did not get to the majority of my normal art ideas(some of which are long overdue). That has me bummed out, but I am hoping I can get to those next year.
Back to this drawing, this is the portrait for Noble Raine Taevas' birthday today! 🎂
I'm not sure how I feel about how this turned out honestly, but I suppose it was still nice to get to draw Raine again! The last time I drew them I believe was for a Winx Club!TLR AU commission. I didn't really change too much about their physical appearance, aside from giving slightly shorter hair(which I think is part of what's throwing me off), and trying to draw all their visible facial and ear piercings. I did give them a new outfit though, which was inspired by Lois Lane's first outfit in the latest Superman movie, just with different colors and longer sleeves.

Hello everyone, Happy Thanksgiving to those who might celebrate it! 🦃 I had to work today and it was kind of a rough shift(for multiple reasons, one of which was me getting super nauseous early on during my shift), but I thankfully started to feel a little better physically as the day went on! I would have had this uploaded a lot sooner, but I was just trying to chillax for the rest of the day. Anyway, today is the last birthday for November, with it being the birthday of King Consort Lian Alagona! 🎂
I mentioned it before on Arethusa's birthday portrait, but I still find it an amusing coincidence that all of the Alagona family's birthdays fall either on or right next to a holiday(in Brooke's case, an important national/federal day instead). For Lian here, I drew him using a mixture of one of the very first sketches I did for him(from many years ago), a commission done of him(mainly for his hair, which was mixed with my own sketches' style), and then his first physical description from the novel for his outfit. He honestly gave me a lot of trouble trying to draw him and I'm not sure how satisfied I am with how this turned out, but I do think his look has definitely improved! Next time, I would like to make the greenish aspect of his hair more prominent. I will be honest again and say that he is not one of my favorite characters, but that is mainly for how awful of a person he is supposed to be. I hope to properly portray that and convey just how much he has put all of his family members through in the series.

I haven't drawn a full-color drawing of Flint in years, so it was so nice to get to draw him again! I didn't change too much about his design, either than adding some more details to his outfit. I think he came out pretty cute! :3

Today we finally have the first birthday for November, with it being the one of Idalia Eld~! 🎂
Idalia is one of the oldest characters for the novel and one I wished I worked with more, considering how fleshed out she is compared to some other side characters! She was the very first witch I created and the one I slightly based the universe's version of witchcraft off of. She was also the first 'mixed' character, being half-Erdennian and half-Feorian, though she doesn't and never lived in either country(rather, she lives in the country that contains the majority of the Dark Forest). Although her role is pretty minor(at least in terms of the first novel's storyline), she will become a pretty important character, so I am really looking forward to writing for her!
I've only fully-drawn her twice before, both times many years ago, so I decided to switch up her look a bit! Her hair is a different shade of brown now, still meant to be dark but now has more of a warmer tone to it, which I hoped to tie back to her Feorian side more. She still has a flower crown, but I decided to have it sit on a braided crown and contain different shades of flowers. Her outfit was the most fun part about her new design, as I really wanted it to stand out more from the rather plain and simple one she had before. Decided to make the neckline of her dress be more of a dramatic/revealing cut(fitting a bit to her more playful and flirty nature, and how she likes being sexy for herself(even if she's ace)), while making her sleeves more flowy and adding a sash. To complete the look, I gave her some gold necklaces!

Happy belated Halloween, everyone! 🧡🖤 Been having a rough mental health time lately so I wasn't able to get my Halloween drawings done in time like I wanted, but I still loved the ideas and wanted to draw them anyway, even if they would be a bit late!
This is actually an art idea I had back when the movie was first released, but it is of my Mira dressed as Mira from Kpop Demon Hunters!~ ✨️ I think my original art idea was to draw the two next to each other("Mira and Mira" it would've been called, lol), but since I never got around to that I thought to change it up a little to be more like a costume/cosplay kind of situation for the Halloween season. Although my Mira resembles Zoey more in terms of physical appearance(and personality a bit, too), the namesake resemblance between her and Mira is what inspired me the most. Tried my best to follow her first shown outfit here, though some details were a bit simplified to fit my art style. But, I do like how this came out and that I was finally able to get to this art idea, and that I was able to give some art love to one of my favorite movies of the summer~ ❤️

I actually originally drew some sketches of her in this late-teens/young adult age range a long time ago(at least a year ago or so), but never got around to sharing them as they were done as bored doodles in class in the margins of a notebook. Her outfit/appearance here was inspired by a picrew I did of her in an OC picrew chain I was tagged in on my main blog over a year ago, reflecting her more simple and casual but still cute tomboy style. She has a shorter haircut because I can see her liking the style for its easy and freeing simplicity(and because she was inspired by some other people in her life), and, although they may not be the most noticeable, some freckles on her shoulders! Although she wouldn't have them as often or as intense as her dad does, she still tends to gain some on her joints and limbs during especially sunny times. Also, because she is normally seen with the playful, sharp-toothed smile of her papa, I wanted to draw her with the more intense, Von Brandt family signature death/murder glare™, since she is also capable of it when in a bad enough mood lol
