Bad-Ending Manny: In an alternate timeline, Manny Rivera joins forces with Sartana of the Dead and her grandson, Django. Together they conquered the world, crushing any resistance. Not satisfied with sharing the world with the undead, Manny betrayed Sartana and Django by blasting them to space. He takes Django's mystic guitar to control the undead army. To tighten his grip on power, Manny steals his father's "Bronze Boots of Truth" and his Grandpapi's "Golden Sombrero of Chaos", while keeping them imprisoned. Manny, along side Frida Suarez, made the world their own paradise, they can have everything they ever wanted. That made Manny, now known as "El Tigre Sombra", so... damn... bored. So when an evil genius clone with a god complex, popped in from another dimension with an offer to rewrite the multiverse, how could he say no to such a challenge.

I swear she is the least talked about character from that show which really sucks bcuz she was such a badass and tragic character with wasted potential

I like how her design switches between cute normal girl to horrific robot demon. You can tell Rob Renzetti and the team had a lot of fun designing her

This scene caught me so off guard as a kid bcuz of how out of nowhere it was. I’m surprised they even managed to show this on TV and how no one brings it up when talking about childhood cartoon trauma

Maybe it’s cuz I’ve always LOVED the “seemingly normal person that’s actually a horrific monster” character that draws me to her. I also like how she and Dr Locus have a very farm aesthetic, with him resembling and acting like a nice old farmer while his robot weapons are designed as farm animals. Even Melody gives off a Dorothy Gale impression (that is if Dorothy was a terminator)

It really sucks she never got to finish her arc due to the show being abruptly cancelled. It literally ended with her flying away crying, thinking she was an outcast and heartbroken. We don’t know what happens to her and Jenny never even apologized!!

This was the only episode where I really hated Jenny lmao

I think Melody was supposed to be Jenny’s foil since she’s the only other robot girl in town and shares the same dream of wanting to fit in. Yet they’re very opposite in a lot of other traits: being built for good/evil purposes and having a good/evil creator. Melody is also more gentle and patient than Jenny. She only lashes out when pushed around too much. There’s also their designs. While Jenny’s outward appearance def let’s you know she’s a robot and makes it harder for her to fit in, Melody’s human skin lets her blend in better (which I think is another reason why Jenny was jealous of her)

Maybe in season 4, Melody would have returned as an actual villain who wants revenge against Jenny for how horrible she was and taking Brad from her. It would be a nice character growth moment for Jenny since she has to own up to her mistakes and apologize. It would be a great message in a show all about dealing with teenage growth and maturing as a person
