Did Muffet need a reason to use dangerous power tools? No, not really. She can do whatever she wants. But if she can get a reason, well.. why not? That explains why she’s holding a chainsaw right now (hearing protection as well, of course!) in front of this large block of ice ready to be sculpted.

Or rather, not quite ready.

Chemi would not have normally questioned why someone had their hands full of underwater rocks, shells, and other decorative objects in this part of the Swirling Gulf. However, most often she saw collectors like that go towards the area where all the shops were set up, presumably to sell them themselves.

This mermaid-looking person, on the other hand, was going in the complete opposite direction, which intrigued Chemi and she just had to know why.

Memo had snuck up behind Nami, arms raised, fangs bared after wandering about the costume store alone for a few minutes, and had procured herself an extra long set of vampire teeth and a cliche dracula-esque jacket. “Can’t let your guard down, Nami, or I might just pull a Crow on ya.”

Why the hell did he decide to go to the pool? Because it was hot it was crowded and nobody wanted to play any volleyball with him.

[ Was she aquatic?  She looked it!  If there was one thing to know about trolls, it was that they associate being aquatic with royalty.  And even if she was seadwelling, the way she carried herself still screamed status. ]

Dusk cleared the beach at the edges of the Golden Coast. Rocks and tide pools  appeared with the low tide. Farther out just past the rocks in deeper was the Golden Hind,  quietly relaxed in the water. From here the pirate Francis Drake watched the highrises alight and the evening life start to wake.  This was her favorite spot. She could just sit back, maybe fish and have a beer with a clear vie-- what was that?  A glitter of color at the surface, a head, a tail?  A mermaid? It moved and so did the captain, nearly hanging off the boat’s rails.

“What about you two?” She asked of the spider lady and the mermaid joining her at the table. After over two years here, drinking with such people seemed par for the course really.

Her eyes turned to the open doorway and after a few moments Corvo appeared. Speak of the devil.

“Hey. Welcome back.” Already the table was littered with various drinks, at first glance it was difficult to tell if it was going to be a heavy night or if one was already under way. A faint smile graced her as he approached “Are you okay? We were talking about meeting people in the city.”

getting used to this city seemed to be the only choice Plague had left. no sign of being able to leave this place, and with 1 familiar face here, it was at least bearable. What they really missed though was magic- seeing it, using it, feeling it’s energy, Plague knight was so used to its presence that it was depressing to go without it.
