Summer had yet to arrive in Konoha, but the heat was already skyrocketing above normal temperatures. Sakura had been clad in only a tank top and what could barely pass as a pair of shorts when Obito had arrived with popsicles. What had started as a sweet treat quickly devolved into using them to cool spots all over each other’s bodies and then licking the fruity remnants away. Of course, that only served to make each other hot again, and the only way to extinguish those flames was to give in to them.

When Kakashi showed up later that afternoon, he was only slightly exasperated to find them in Sakura’s bedroom. They were sprawled out on her bed - Obito in only his boxer briefs and Sakura in his T-shirt.

Sakura traces the scars running down his chest with her finger, his hand curled around her waist as she shifts.  “Where did you… Where did you get those scars?” she asks eventually. 

Obito looks down at where her fingers stop. It’s not the scars that run down on one side of his body that she asks, it’s the gnarled, white knob at the base of his abdomen that she asks. “Oh. That. Orochimaru,” he tells her in a cinched breath as she traces the scar further down and kisses it. His cock gives a feeble twitch, unable to find the energy to rise after all the rounds they had been through.

“When?” 

“Before I was Tobi, I think.” The time before becoming Tobi was hazy to him. According to Inoichi, hazy memories are quite common to the brainwashed, with time, Obito would be able to recover them. Frankly, the idea of recovering those set of memories scares him. He remembers a hazy set of lights above him and occasionally red or gold eyes.

KakaSaku month prompt: myths/fairytales

Pakkun was now staring at Itachi. “Yama no itachi desuka? What is the English…”

Kakashi said with a smile, “Makes things easy, doesn’t it?” From beneath his stomach he pulled out… one of her sandals?

Itachi backed up. “Please don’t…”

Before he could finish his sentence, Kakashi had lightly tossed the sandal at Itachi. He caught it with a mournful expression… and vanished.

“The word in English is weasel, by the way, Pakkun,” Kakashi said. He smiled at Sakura. “Sorry about the sandal. I’ll make it up to you.”

Sakura was still staring, speechless, at the spot where Itachi was standing a moment ago.

“Now that we have some privacy,” Kakashi continued, “we can discuss terms.”

“Terms?” squeaked Sakura.

“Maa, of course.” He smiled pleasantly. “You didn’t think I worked for free, did you?”

“I… I genuinely don’t need anything! This was just an unfortunate accident!” she pleaded.

Pakkun’s head tilted, making his pug-like ears flop around adorably. “How do you summon a god by accident?”

I don’t like the next generation of Naruto at all.

They’re the least aesthetically pleasing bunch I’ve ever had the displeasure of seeing, especially Boruto, with his weird-looking banana hair. I mean, which side of the family does he get it from? How does it make any sense?

And regarding his temperament, you’d think with both of his parents around he’d at least be a bit more disciplined and less obnoxious than Naruto was in his youth, but no. He’s a carbon copy of his father in his youth, through and through. Himawari is no better - sure, she looks cute (oh wait, no she doesn’t) but 

unrealistic, unrealistic, and unrealistic, with a side of stupid, stupid, and more stupid.

It doesn’t matter if your mother is from the Hyuuga clan and your father is an Uzumaki with the Kyuubi inside of him. NO ONE has that kind of power at that age. Think about it: her mother was basically useless until she ended her ninja career as a Chuunin, and her father wasn’t able to hone any of his skills until he was twelve years old, and his life had been in danger.

What happened to Himawari for her to unlock such power? Oh right, her stuffed animal got torn. 

Ridiculous.

As for the SasuSaku aspect - other than the fact that Sakura basically turned into a housewife and could have done so much more with her life - most of it focused on the drama about whether or not Karin was Sarada’s actual mother instead of Sakura, solely because of the fact that she wears glasses. 

Like, is this really the most important thing they have to focus on at that moment? Do the shinobi - the Hokage - have nothing better to do?

Then, it was Sarada’s determination to find her father who - oh wait, tries to kill her the moment they finally meet due to him not even recognizing her.

And the sole fact that Sasuke and Sakura’s own daughter questioned the stability of their marriage is so, so stupid. Ninjas, with such incredible power and the ability to make changes in the world that need to happen, worrying about crap like this.

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - slowburn. It starts when Kakashi starts to notice how beautiful Sakura has grown, how strong she has become, how kind and gentle she is despite her monstrous strength-- and Sakura when she starts noticing how Kakashi seems to be... always there, right after the 4th War.

How was their first kiss? - Kinda awkward on Sakura’s part; Kakashi guides her nicely, making her crave for more (he gives her more).

Wedding:

Who proposed? - Kakashi, he tries to be romantic but ends up being super dorky instead

Who is the best man/men? - If Obito lives, it’s Obito and Yamato or Naruto. If not, it’s Naruto and Yamato.

Who is the braid’s maid(s)? - INO

Who did the most planning? - Sakura. Kakashi just goes with whatever as long as it’s not too grand. Tsunade and Ino will probably butt in though.

Who stressed the most? - Sakura

How fancy was the ceremony? - Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - O r o c h i m a r u. and probably Sasuke (he will not come anyway)

Who is on top? - Kakashi. Sometimes Sakura will be on top for some playtime

Who is the one to instigate things? - Surprisingly enough (for Kakashi), it’s Sakura. It starts when Sakura asks Kakashi if one of the position in Icha Icha is possible for human being.

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - Sakura. Kakashi does have his Hokage job so Sakura tends to allow him to sleep when the babies cry at night too. (Kakashi wants none of that tho. If he can help, he gonna help)

Who is the stricter parent? - Kakashi

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Sakura

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - Both.

Who is the more loved parent? - They’re both loved! But if they’re asked for a favorite, they never pick their parents for reasons only known by them. They will instead say either Uncle Naruto or Auntie Ino. And in some cases, Auntie Anko.

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - Sakura. Kakashi pops in some times tho

Who cried the most at graduation? - Sakura. Kakashi totally doesnt sob dramatically while holding a tissue. Not at all.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - Kakashi

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking? - Sakura. Kakashi does like to cook some food from time to time tho, esp when it includes eggplant

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Kakashi

Who does the grocery shopping? - Kakashi with their children. It’s a way for them to hang out despite Kakashi’s Hokage duties. They still do it even after Naruto becomes Hokage.

How often do they bake desserts? - Whenever the kids want it

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - Balanced diet

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Kakashi. He’s a romantic at heart

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Sakura! Kakashi likes lying on the bed and just cuddle all day

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidently while cooking? - Sakura. Kakashi sometimes gets into a playful mood and holds a fire extinguisher ready behind her when she cooks. Their oldest son definitely takes a picture of it and frames it

Chores:

Who cleans the room? - Kakashi. He has sensitive nose. The slightest of dust in his house will irk him. He’s dealt with it enough during missions, thank you.

Who is really against chores? - None.

Who cleans up after the pets? - Kakashi.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - Sakura does this sometimes.

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Sakura

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Kakashi. Sometimes it’s Pakkun.

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - They take showers together. Sakura

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - Kakashi. Sometimes it’s Sakura because the dogs love her more (or so Kakashi says with a dramatic pout)

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - They do standard decorating during big days.

What are their goals for the relationship? - To be happy. To have a family. To protect each other and be for each other.

Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Kakashi. He’s either sleeping till noon or awake till morning. There is no inbetween.

That one I just made, I molded it around an old vodka bottle and just went to town, so no reference was used. It was originally meant to be something friendlier but things changed :D
