To be mean for a sec, Melikestea being completely able to waive tariffs for US and other foreign customers says something about how much she'd been upcharging in the first place. Even if it's a good price for the US market, it's another thing that was made completely inaccessible for lolitas actually from Brazil. No one else raised the price this much even with inflation, and unless you're looking for something with an absurdly specific color scheme that's in stock there often aren't a lot of options like when it was all made to order
Seems petty, but you've no idea how high the tariffs and shipping that we have to pay are. Even the conversion rates for the shipping make it high enough to be taxed 60% on top of the usual 20%, unless it's like a couple things from Shein, who btw is opening factories here because the cost for the consumer is still too high. If you want to not pay tariffs for clothing, it has to be under 50 dollars with shipping. If it's something heavy like shoes, you're not gonna get there.
Back when I bought this, it would've been about 20 dollars. Now you can add 6 dollars to that and buy waist ties
