happy ild! I’m on vacation but didn’t want to let it pass me by. Brought a couple of my dresses to wear very casually.

Blouse is tiny garden, dress is moitie also I paid to have it pressed and it got all scrunkled in the first 10 minutes. Of wear so she’s basically my nemesis

Ok, so I know I said I was pretty done with main pieces, which is true... but when I saw that this one released in a larger size (102 cm bust!!) I really wanted to check it out. I have never owned any Moi-même-Moitié before because of their sizing so I'm happy to have finally completed the Big Brand Roster.

The may lily embroidery reminds me of some of the dresses I owned in the 2000's that had embroidered hems. The embroidery itself is that traditional Moitié blue that will be a challenge to match as I continue acuquiring accessories.

It's cotton, which will be nice and breezy in the summer. I shot this while packing for a vacation, so I tried it under my less poofy petticoat in order to ensure that it would not peek out. My oldest petti was originally 23 inches, but I think it got longer as it lost some of its fluff. I ended up chopping a few inches off of the bottom so I don't know how long it actually is now, but it doesn't peek out of my dresses so I can wear it again. We'll see how long this lasts.

This dress is so small. My pre-top surgery measurement was 100 cm, and I still buy around there to make sure my dresses are comfortable and roomy. This one is so tight - the cotton has no stretch but there is some shirring. I wore it once out of the box, washed it once, did nothing to dry or heat it at all, and shoved it on my dress form. You can see from the drag lines how tight this is. I also was not thrilled that the strap button popped off immediately the first time I tried it on. It also wrinkles like nobody's business, which is wild because steaming it will shrink it? I didn't bother to steam it here because I'm just going to cram it into my suitcase but I will report back.

wore this out for a couple of previews at the neighboring castle. Tried a bare-legged coord and while it was much more comfy than the alternative it is still too damn hot for a petticoat.

I’ve been stressy depressy since my mom died so it’s been hard to get back into my frilly clothes. I’m hoping that if I dress like I feel better I will start to feel better.
