Ya Allah, if I am to marry, may it be to a man who genuinely wants to be a loving and gentle husband and a man who genuinely wants to be a kind and loving father. Ameen.

people say they want someone who can hold them, give them kisses, and all that jazz which yeah, all that is great. But like, what about someone you can play board games with, go on mini adventures & sidequests, re-enacting films or whatever it may be just for the fun of it all, dancing together in whatever fashion, singing together be it in whatever ridiculous off-tune manner, being silly & a pair of great goofs together, whose mere presence brings you joy and a plethora of peace even if doing small, mundane things together. I mean, isn’t that what life is all about? To find joy in the small things together.

Eid Mubarak! May Allah SWT have accepted our fasting, our prayers, and ours duas. May Al Kareem and At Tawwab forgive our sins, and any of our short-comings. Hoping we all have a beautiful and blessed couple of days with our loved ones! 🤍🌙
