White ink on vellum paper (not to be confused with actual vellum!!) is soooo good. If you write too wet it will buckle, so small x-heights and fine shades are the way to go. So dreamy. . This is @royaltalensau gouache on @peterkinpaper linen finish envelope - a textured envelope like this means you need a light hand and a sturdy nib, but the effects can be a lot of fun! . A little birdy tells me @calligraphysuppliesaus is wondering whether to stock this gouache or not. What do you guys think? I found it really lovely to work with - very fine pigment quality, so it flows very sweetly through my pen. I’d definitely buy more colours! .
