So um, life update. It's been a bit since Mel has made any post, specifically their requests (thank you all for sending them btw), so they would like to give an explanation.
As some of you have seen from previous updates, Mel's job is somewhat difficult and takes up a portion of their time. This has risen, as managers are getting more aggressive about product production every day and new holiday ideas.
The other reason why was, Mel got into a relationship. At first it was great, the guy was a mutual friend in an online group, he seemed chill. But Mel was so wrong, since they were so lovesick they didn't realize he was actually toxic. Within a week he found the general area Mel lived and tracked how far we lived away from each other. He had to receive a message every hour or else he would grow upset with them. He never respected them, Mel usually goes by they/them pronouns as they talk in third person, however, he would only use feminine pronouns.
" Oh you're such a cute girl " it was always girl, girl, girl. He didn't respect boundaries, pestering for face pics, told close friends and his own fucking mother that we were dating despite Mel asking it to be private for a few months. Then through one friend they found out he was 10 years older then them.
It was a bad situation. Mel was afraid to tell family, friends, afraid everyone ditch them. It took about a month before they finally broke it off. They'll still recovering, but they wanted people to know why it's been a bit.
