AIGHT YOU WANT ANOTHER I'LL GIVE YOU ANOTHER: ALL OF THEM FOR WULFRIC
THATS THE SPIRIT!
SALTY WOLF DAD, LET’S GO!
(Disclaimer: Wulfric von Everett is not a DnD character, but a character out of my writing.)
Illithid: What does your character like to eat?
Salted meats. This is primarily a practicality issue, as for a long time he frequently went months without seeing another human being, and unable to resupply. Thus he needed food that would last a long time. With the invention of automobiles signifcantly faster than a horse, he abandoned his steeds for an early muscle car and then for a souped-up panel van he painted as the mystery machine. But his learned love of jerky remains.
Owlbear: What makes your character angry? How do hey deal with anger?
Monsters; magical or human, it makes no difference to him. Anyone who inflicts needless harm instantly earns a place on his shit list. This frequently ends with fatal violence.
Changeling: Describe a relationship with another character that they would consider significant.
His apprentice, Emma Dennet, is basically the only person he sees regularly enough (Constantly; she lives in his van) to have a real relationship with; to some extent, he thinks of her as a daughter/heir.
Mimic: What are your character’s short term goals? What about long term?
Wulfric’s only long term plan is to train Emma to be the best monster hunter she can be before sending her off to be subjected to the mutations that will mark her passage into a full member of the Fenris Pack. Short term, keep hunting monsters and atone for his past.
Dragon: Tell a story of something cool that your character did in play.
He once saved Miami from a shoggoth by stabbing a guy and mixing high explosives from a bag of flour and various other sundries he stole from a whole foods (by driving his van through it’s front end)
Rust Monster: What objects are most precious to your character?
His bestiary, his locket, his sword, and his shotgun.
Suwyze: What makes your character feel worried and/or insecure? Do they have any phobias?
Wulfric feels immense guilt over the atrocities he committed upon the sentient monster community in the first half of his 300 year life, and fears that one day that guilt will get him killed when he faces a monster that can weaponize that guilt (It almost comes true.)
Basilisk: What Hogwarts House would your character be in?
He would likely shoot the hat the moment it started speaking. Beyond that, he’s a Ravenclaw shoo-in. While he initially appears to be a Gryffindor due to his almost reckless bravery, his greatest asset is, in fact, his mind and experience.
Alkada: Tell a story of something funny that either happened to your character or happened because of your character.
Wulfric once honestly tried to help a werewolf gain control of their lycanthropy by putting them in a fursuit.
Displacer Beast: Is your character a cat person or a dog person?
Doggo’s are flawless and perfect in wulfric’s book.
Beholder: Who does your character look up to?
Wulfric is a slight egomaniac, and really looks up to no one except Maria Diaz de Valencia, his own former mentor (also responsible for the burn marks that cover half of his torso.)
Thought Eater: What’s a significant memory your character has?
His mutations. They inflict a level of pain that is indescribable; he still has nightmares about watching the fates of his friends and training partners as they died on the tables next to him in gruesome manners, as his own body was wracked with indescribable agony.
Yuan-ti: Does your character lie? How often?
Wulfric lies like there’s no tomorrow.Â
Umpleby: Describe something that makes your character happy.
80s nostalgia.
Gibbering Mouther: Does your character have any quotes you particularly like?
“Ain’t no such thing as heroes, kid. Me? I’m a professional.”
Drow: What does your character think is their greatest flaw? Are they right?
Wulfric is well aware of his problems interacting with people in a manner other than his usual joking, ass-holy self.
Ettercap: Who drives your character up the wall?
Morons who should know better messing with powers they don’t understand and inevitably having to save their asses when, of course, turns out you can’t trust/control/bargan with [insert monster here.]
Harpy: Your character’s stuck on a desert island – what five items do they take with them?
His van and an amphibious car conversion kit.
Lich: If your character could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
Bring back the Dragons. They had been gone for a century by the time Wulfric was born, but from what he’s been told, it’s all gone to shit without them.
Phase Spider: How does your character get through most of their problems?
Violence. Not that he wants it to be that way, but more often than not someone else makes that call for him.
Another!
