Being a fan of Freddy's since she was a child her favorite member of the band has always been the big bear himself!

First Day at Freddy's

I'm not much for blogging even with being chronically online. Still, I thought it might be kind of interesting to document my new job? I was just hired on as a lead technician at the Mega-Pizza-Plex here in sunny Hurricane, Utah. The interview process went moderately fast, I guess they're really hurting for employees at the moment. As far as I know there is only one other employee that works here and she's just the night guard.

My first day was nothing short of overwhelming. This place for all its neon bathed walls is pretty under-maintained. I have my work cut out for me. I was told I'd not only be the go to guy for the animatronic repairs but for any odd jobs around the building. So you can imagine after 4 years of zero human employee's that there is a gargantuan list of things to fix. I'm honestly shocked they've gotten by for as long as they have?

The animatronics are really cool, I remember coming here a few times as a kid. Part of what sparked my love of robotics was seeing these guys in action. Now that I'm older I can really appreciate the sheer magnitude of programing and engineering that makes these huge bots tick! Super excited to open them up and take a look inside!

It was a long night, definitely going to take some getting use to. At least i managed to be productive with the time I had.

I know there are a lot of rumors surrounding this place and people have a morbid curiosity for the past Freddy's is notorious for harboring. I'll keep you all posted on how things go for me and hey, if I end up dying in some freak accident at least there will be record of my existance somewhere?
