Am I watching the same show as everyone else? “Dean was great in season one! He just got dumbed down to make Jess better! He was smart and funny and loving!” Like, no he wasn’t? At best he was bland and boring, at worst he was already starting to show his anger problems. And he was smart? Okay, he read a Hunter S. Thompson novel and consented to reading some books he didn’t like because Rory made him. Like, he wasn’t as dumb as in later seasons, but he was far from being a genius or even being above average.
People who have, like, 30 OTPs blow my mind. Like how? How do you endure so much heartache from so many couples? And also, I consider OTPs to be, like, a really special and permanent thing so I have to have an internal debate over whether or not a couple really is an OTP for, like, months before I decide to actually declare them to be one.
I like that so many of the guests on Gilmore Guys (and Demi himself) feel like there is something lacking in Luke and Lorelai's relationship, because I thought I was the only one and was kinda scared to voice that opinion, but now I'm not alone.
i want to go outside and just stare at space, but i don’t want drunk and high students to confront me

I hate that I'm terrible at getting gifts for my mom because she is fantastic at getting gifts for me.
If Sam Hunt opens for Carrie on the Storyteller tour it will ruin this era for me. He's already infected the album, leaving his grimy little finger prints and hair grease all over Heartbeat. He's got his producer producing two of Carrie's songs so that she gets sucked into this "country/R&B" trend. If he's on tour, if they duet on tour... My stomach did a flip just thinking about it. If he opens I'll either just arrive late or take a really long bathroom break during his time. If he duets with her I guess I'll have to suffer through it and my best friend will be thrilled and singing along and I'll be trying not to throw up. Ugh. I hate him so much. Not him as a person, I don't know him as a person, but everything he stands for within country music. SavingCountryMusic posted and article a while back called "Sam Hunt's Hair Is Everything That's Wrong With Country Music" and I refer back to that all the time because it's 100% true. Sam Hunt makes me miss bro-country. Sam Hunt makes me miss country-pop that's really just pop but for some weird reason the artist is clinging to that country label. Taylor Swift looks at Sam Hunt and goes, "woah, dude, respect the country genre." And all of the dudes who COULD be actual country, well, and girls too (I'm looking at you Danielle Bradbery and Lauren Alaina) are shifting to be in line with his sound because he's what's popular right now, but guess what, he's not popular with country music fans. He's popular with the people who are currently listening to "country" because it's the "cool music" right now. In a few more years they will all shift to another genre and Sam Hunt will be left with a tiny fan base, half of which only like him because he's "hot." Meanwhile, if he had actually bothered to participate in and honor the genre and its roots he would have made fans for life. Also, the first time I heard "Take Your Time" I literally laughed out loud and I was SO embarrassed for the guy cause I thought it was some newbie who was trying out a first single and didn't realize how ridiculous he sounded on those verses but then I found out, nope, it's Sam Hunt and this is a hit. I had just laughed at it like it was William Hung's American Idol audition and it was actually a Sam Hunt hit. I'm going to stop this rant now. Literally all it was supposed to be about was Carrie's tour, but Sam pushes my buttons so I just start rambling.
You know you have a problem when you're watching parks and rec and April says "I heard Neko Case and Ben Gibbard made out here once" and you know who both of those people are...and you know they've never made out...
