Aw man this is SO HARD. In the 00Q fandom, there are so many talented writers that itās so hard to chooseā¦ There is one that I go back and read often for the beautiful slow burn, the writing, the pacing, everything, and thatās:

Iām gonna be straight up honest here: if I love them, I want to see them in pain. I just love the sufferingā¦because itās the potential for hurt/comfort xD The only characters I donāt want to see in pain are animals, because I just canāt deal.

00Q coffeeshop au?
1. Q started working at the coffee shop in uni, despite having a hatred of coffee which seemed to grow with every day he spent making it. Ā In spite of his dislike, Q is a terrific barista with regular customers who come back time and again.
2. Eve dragged Bond to said coffee shop because it had the best coffee in town. Ā Also, she thought the agent would like the man behind the counter even more.
3. Q is smitten by his new customer and vows to hide it by being as sarcastic and prickly as possible. Ā Jamesā name is never right on the cup and Q takes great pride in saying the wrong name loudly, every time. Ā
5. Feeling particularly bold, one day Q puts his phone number on the cup instead of Bondās name. Ā Bond calls him that night. Ā Q brings his favourite coffee to the date two days later.
Bonus: After a rough mission that has Bond battered and bruised, when Q sees all the injuries when James comes in for his coffee he panics, afraid he would lose his partner before they really got established. Ā He offers Bond a job at the shop because the biggest concern there was steam burns and a possible stick up. Ā To his surprise, James accepts, having retired after that mission. Ā The two buy the coffee shop where James runs the cash register, Q makes the coffee and the customers laugh at the way the two of them bicker constantly. Ā

Ive never played Touken Ranbu but I think itās sort of like that! I guess the only difference is that there is only one sword and the Miragen+Kagami take turns taking over haha.
