MegaTek vs. Ovation Cell Therapy...
Soooooooooooooo.....back to the hair loss discussion. I recently purchased a product called Ovation Cell Therapy, which is being advertised heavily on LA radio as a rapid hair growth product. In school, I learned nothing purchased over the counter can make your hair grow back. But I tend to find fault in that particular statement. Again it depends on the type of hair loss you have...which we'll discuss in a later post.
In researching this ovation cell therapy online, before actually testing the products on a live model, I came across a very similar product called MegaTek. I've found that EQyss MegaTek is the parent company of Ovation Cell Therapy!!! MegaTek manufactures pet products for cell, coat, and hoof rebuilder. Their products are so successful, they decided to repackage, and raise the price for human consumption.
MegaTek Equine Cell, Coat, and Hoof Rebuilder Ingredients:
Deionized water, hydrolyzed keratin protein, stearalkonium chloride, glyceryl stearate, peg 100 stearate, marine protein, peg 40, panthenal, dimethicone copolyol, magnesium citrate, allantoin, amino acids, methylparaben, mucopoly-saccharides, propylparaben, imidazolidinyl urea, fragrance
Ovation Cell Therapy Ingredients:
Purified water, hydrolyzed keratin protein, stearalkonium chloride, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, Panthenyl Hydroxypropyl Steardimonium Chloride, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Butylene Glycol, Arctium Lappa Root Extract, Hedera Helix (Ivy) Extract, Trigonella Foenum-Graecum Seed Extract, Polyquaternium-37, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Trideth-6, PEG-40 Castor Oil, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Keratin Protein, Tocopheryl Acetate, Cetrimonium Chloride, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin
As you can see, a number of ingredients are exactly the same. I have yet to try either product. A number of online reviews/blogs praise the MegaTek product, but I'm not so sure about using an equine coat and hoof rebuilder on any of my clients.Â
Any responses or thoughts on the subject?
