Danny had no qualms with a cute girl falling asleep on his shoulder. In fact, he considered it a compliment, that they could be comfortable enough to do so. He didn’t know Valerie very well, but Danny was the type of person that could befriend a paper bag. The way she blushed he thought was pretty adorable, but it was when Valerie addressed him as ‘sir’ that brought a laugh from his bright grin. “No need to call me sir,” Danny promised, his expression softening as she widened the gap between them. “In fact, I don’t think I've ever been called sir in my life. It’s kind of trippy.” His amusement wasn’t aimed at her; but rather, the situation.

“There’s no need to apologize, really. I honestly felt myself starting to doze off a few times as well. I’m just glad I didn’t start snoring in your ear.” His blue eyes sparkled mischievously. “Do you feel refreshed?”

                ‘ Oh shoot, ‘ he laughed, his tone soft and kind, letting himself be guided down. He knew the reality was that his height often required an angle that couldn’t be comfortable to look at for too long, especially with someone of such short stature, though he found their height differences sweet. So he easily sat down on the bench, legs bent, thankful there was no table because he often found his knees brushing the underside.

Valerie was kind, and he was grateful she had felt comfortable enough to get him to change angles. Sometimes height could be intimidating in ways beyond Evan’s control.

“  IF  IT’S  ANY  CONSOLATION  ,  IT’S  NOT  ALL  MY  BLOOD  ,  ”  five  said  quietly  ,  pulling  off  his  tie  &&  his  suit  jacket  ,  throwing  them  to  one  side  .  a  stroll  towards  the  mirror  &&  he  inspected  himself  roughly  before  then  turning  on  the  tap  &&  pooling  some  water  into  his  hands  .  “  &&  believe  me  when  i  say  that  i’ve  had  it  WORSE  &&  done  a  lot  worse  ,  ”  he  added  ,  splashing  his  face  with  the  water  ,  &&  watching  the  blood  trickle  down  to  the  drain  .

Yes. He wants to be alone, he wants to be able to cry without having to pretend that everything is okay. He wants his mom, but he is too old for that. He wants Mike, but he’s too busy with something, someone else. Don’t be so selfish, just suck it up.

A shaky exhale. A quiet inhale. Repeat.

Will shakes his head, forcing himself to smile, but he doubts it’s convincing.. He doubts this even looks like a smile.  ❝ I’m okay. Sorry if I scared you. Are you okay? ❞
