Okay my dearest Meej, I will  admit to you one of my deepest B5 secrets: I’m a little bitter that it was Marcus’s name Ivanova said in the last ep and not Talia’s STEPHEN HAD MARCUS COVERED OK and man I mean I really enjoyed the character Marcus, but Ali once said something like “Ivanova doesn’t need a unicorn she needs a dragon” and that sums it up for me.

OK man I know that The Rite of Spring isn’t the end-all-be-all of Stravinsky but it is still my favorite and the internet has so many awesome iterations like the recreation of the original ballet makes me unspeakably happy all on its own but also this animated graphical score is mesmerizing and one of my most-watched videos BUT THE FANTASIA SEQUENCE FUCKED ME UP AS A KID OK it stuck in my head and haunted my dreams and I know the score sometimes gets shit for being too tame in comparison to the original composition but man as a five-year-old I did not think Baby’s First Stravinsky was anything approaching tame.

I don’t know how Meej-bot knows I like Slavic composers best (I AM IN NO WAY BIASED) but BUT I have never listened extensively to any of The Five! UNTIL RIGHT THIS MINUTE! Will he join Stravinsky and Dvořák to form a powerful trinity of Good Sounds? I’m only two minutes in so I will let you know!
