Why is trans health important?
I presented a workshop at Stanford’s Medicine X about diverse trans patient experiences.
One of our attendees told us she went home and immediately started drafting a presentation for her office. She’s going to lobby their hospital system to revamp their intake forms. 🏥✍️💪
MedX is a conference that centers patient voices in health care. The transgender community has a strong history of grassroots advocacy for our own health, so it seemed fitting to learn from other patient communities.
