Coffee Timelapse 1.31.26

Dialing in my hand grinder for a new bag of beans before the gym this morning. This was the third shot and I think I’m getting close!

Had some technical difficulties with pulling the shot. Some of the espresso got on the scale and conveniently reset the damn thing so I didn’t get an accurate extraction REEEEEE!!!!!

This is a single origin Nicaraguan medium roast from a local shop. Tasting notes of nuts, citruses, and caramel; after taste of chocolate. Should be smelling some lemon and dark chocolate from the shot (surprise I forgot to smell it)

Something tells me this is better suited for pour over, but I need to actually get a good shot of espresso before I can get my final opinion. The couple of cups I made this week were very good.

Still working on my milk steaming and latte art. It’ll get there. The latte was very very smooth and nutty. The milk was pretty silky for once, not too many bubbles. I could taste some caramel but no citruses. I may have put too much milk in there but overall I’d give this one a 6/10.
