(3/4)...Until she hears the voice of her deceased sister coming from the tiny boy she's watching. The cat starts talking and has two tails. There's a poltergeist somewhere eating all of the popcorn, and-HIRO YOU GET BACK HERE AND FINISH YOUR DINNER!

Oooh, I honestly didn’t know what the game was about, but now that I’ve seen more info it’s kind of a good match-up isn’t it? I mean, Medium!Hiro’s essentially running around fixing problems caused by spirits with the help of his brother, who’s a spirit himself, kind of like the main character does in Yokai-Watch. There’s just less capsules and watches, and Hiro only really has Tadashi hanging out with him regularly instead of a whole team of ghosts.

But maybe if Nate came to San Fransokyo, or if Hiro took a trip to whatever city Yokai-Watch takes place in, there might be a really big problem that both of them would have to work together to fix.

Alternatively maybe Nate would try to catch/recruit/whatever Tadashi, and Hiro has to intervene before his bro ends up essentially becoming a spirit pokemon XD

This just in, the sequel to BH6 will be titled Big Hero 7, but to everyone’s shock, the seventh Hero is not Tadashi, but Luigi. Fighting crime with his vacuum cleaner.

 But oh man, how much would it suck (HA PUN) to get stuck in that vacuum cleaner? Because if Aunt Cass has been using it, it’s probably full of cookie crumbs, dust, old robot parts, and enough of Mochi’s fur to make another Mochi.

Oh god, does Hiro somehow trap Tadashi with him? Like, Tadashi’s obviously a ghost who can’t move on, but what is he haunting? The place he died? Or Hiro?

Lord, what if Hiro refuses to let Tadashi go, and as much as Tadashi loves his brother and is trying to understand, he starts to resent Hiro a little. And when ghosts start to feel resentment, bad things happen. This is how vengeful spirits and poltergeists come into existence. And then during the course of the movie, Tadashi finds out about Callaghan while he’s haunting Hiro, and suddenly the resentment is combining with this rage that overpowers him, and turns him into the darkest kind of spirits. One that harms the living.

It’s not Baymax that attacks Callaghan on the island. It’s Tadashi. And he can’t be stopped by the team throwing themselves in his way. The nerds don’t know what’s going on, they can’t see ghosts after all, they can only see that Callaghan’s being attacked by some invisible force and it seems to be killing him. But they can tell that Hiro knows what’s going on, because he’s staring at something just beyond Callaghan with a stunned expression, all of the blood drained from his face. It’s like he’s seen a ghost...

This is the moment Hiro realizes that he HAS to stop Tadashi, HAS to help him move on. Because his brother would never have harmed someone like this, would have HATED the creature he’d become, and Hiro has to step in before Tadashi does something he’ll regret forever. So Hiro ends up helping Tadashi find peace there on Akuma Island, helping him to move on, and saving Callaghan as a consequence. When Callaghan thanks him later, though, Hiro coldly informs the man that the only reason he did it was because he didn’t want his brother to be sharing the same afterlife as scum like him.

Maybe there’s still that scene in the garage where Hiro shouts at Baymax that Tadashi is gone, because this time he really is gone, and Hiro’s the reason for it.

I mean, as regular superheroes, they probably are around the bridge a lot preventing suicides (heck yes flying robotic nurse) and other accidents that could leave people hurt or dead, so while they’re there maybe Hiro sneaks off for a few minutes to be a supernatural superhero and help some spirits find their rest (not just the suicides, anyone who’s died on the bridge).

It was probably like that scene in Disney’s Hercules where Phil takes Hercules to Thebes because if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere. Mochi probably brought Hiro to the bridge one night and said “If you can put these spirits to rest, you can do anything.” And then proceeded to laugh evilly when Hiro struggled, because Mochi can be a dick sometimes.

I don’t even know if she would have needed to. Maybe she just wanted to stay to watch over her nephews so badly that she refused to pass over. And at first she was very nervous about this because she’s worried she might have just trapped herself forever on earth with no one to talk to and no chance to pass on in the future (because at the time they wouldn’t have known Hiro was a medium yet). But then she sees Tadashi and Hiro mourning. Tadashi is trying so hard to keep a brave face for Hiro while struggling to manage all of their affairs now that he’s Hiro’s legal guardian, but at night Aunt Cass sees him break down, overcome with grief and worry that he’s not going to be able to hold what’s left of his tiny family together. And Hiro is constantly throwing tantrums, because he wants Aunt Cass back. Neither she or Tadashi can figure out why Hiro, a normally brilliant child, can’t quite grasp the concept of death and Aunt Cass being gone.

But then one night when she sneaks into Hiro’s bedroom to check on him while he’s sleeping, Hiro suddenly wakes up and catches Aunt Cass watching him. He starts talking to her, and she’s so startled she responds automatically, even though she thinks he won’t be able to hear her. But he can and he does and she’s so relieved because she’s been so lonely with no one to talk to since she’d died and she’s been so worried about her boys and in the end they end up talking the whole night away.

And that’s how Aunt Cass discovers that her nephew Hiro is a medium

Can't Cook Tadashi and Medium Hiro end up befriending the very chill neighbours who showed up (even if one DID show up only to 'warn' them that the house was haunted). They were all very surprised when they managed to gather up the courage to visit; the Hamabros and the ghosts were trying to play ball. Inside. It was not going well. The ball kept bouncing off of Baymax and hitting things or people.

What if Medium Hiro was still in high school though. He shows up at the school with two necklaces, each with an odd pendant (a little small normal bit of gravel and a round bit of tile), and he's so tiny. Oh, and followed by 5 ghosts. Honey Lemon has to be physically dragged out of the chemistry labs. By Hiro, because he's the only medium in a three town radius.

Now I just want like a sitcom of all of these crazy adventures. Maybe one episode could be CPS coming for an inspection and possibly to take Hiro away again, but the ghosts and Tadashi work together to frantically clean up the house and make it not look haunted anymore. Only for some reason everything keeps going wrong (Honey Lemon’s got some sort of chemical concoction in the attic that explodes, Fred’s game of monsters gets out of hand and leaves clawmarks on the furniture, etc) and they’re down to the wire and freaking out because the house isn’t ready but they can see CPS pulling up outside and oh god they’re gonna take Hiro away.

Except as the CPS person starts walking up the front path, their next door neighbor suddenly pops out and starts chatting away, distracting them. And when they try to move on, another neighbor pops up with lemon squares they absolute must try. Together they manage to delay the person just long enough for Tadashi and the ghosts to get the house ready.

When Hiro gets home from school (Wasabi was the one to go with him to keep an eye on him because anyone other than him or Aunt Cass usually leads to hijinks at school that wouldn’t reflect well on Tadashi during the inspection), he finds Tadashi sitting calmly and chatting with the CPS person, serving her tea and cookies that he definitely did not make himself. The inspection ends up going very well, and the CPS person leaves with no complaints. It’s in fact the best review they’ve ever had.

When Hiro's willingly channelling a ghost, his own spirit's basically 'curled up' squished into a corner of his body, 'sleeping'. If he's unwillingly possessed and it's not a friendly ghost that he trusts, he remains awake and his spirit tries to not 'curl up' into the little comfortable metaphorical corner.Medium Hiro usually doesn't do the make ghosts visible thing. However, by the time of the roadtrip, Tadashi's found out that hyperactive Hiro also has hyperactive magic. Giving him coffee about 20 minutes before a rest stop results in a lot of freaking out visible ghosts, freaking out humans, and one very hyperactive Hiro asking EVERYONE questions.

Tadashi must've gotten SO MANY people asking for the popup biochem book. Or asking who sold it to him. And then he has to explain that he screws up spells cast on him, someone tried to use an illegal spell that's basically a date rape spell on him, it somehow turned all his textbooks into pop up books permanently instead. (Maybe the caster was called Brad? Haha thank you ybrad captcha for giving me a name. )

Tadashi mostly live isolated for these very reasons. Basically a LOT of weird stuff happens around Hiro and Tadashi, and the ‘normals’ don’t always understand. That’s why they’re so happy to have settled down in the manor with the ghost Nerd Herd and Aunt Cass. Normally they move around a lot because Hiro’s affinity for the dead usually creeps their neighbors out, and then people start whispering, and Tadashi takes them and moves away before Child Protective Services can get called in, because 9 times out of 10 everyone thinks he’s done something to Hiro to make him creepy like that.

But once they move into the haunted house, well, everyone is already expecting people who live in a haunted house to be a bit strange. Most people avoid the place because they’re scared, but those few neighbors who do go out of their way to drop by and say hi to Tadashi and Hiro are actually pretty cool. Very chill. And finally, finally, Tadashi and Hiro start to feel like they’re normal people.
