Little Hiro would KEEP GETTING SICK and it confused Tadashi SO MUCH, especially since when he was at his sickest, touching him felt like putting a hand near something charged with a lot of electricity. And then Hiro would get better, although he'd sometimes stare at things that only he could see or whatever. Then Aunt Cass died and Tadashi found Hiro talking to her. It made sense after that. Hiro was getting sick from having to bottle his medium powers (no ghosts).Hiro would sometimes be incredibly creepy. Like, he's 10 or so and begging his brother, the ghost of his aunt, and his current foster parents to let him go see the body of a murder victim who only died like 3 hours ago, because he wants to interview the ghost. Begging, with puppy dog eyes and everything. And he's not at all disturbed by the dead body, because mediums are weird.Both the Hamada brothers are slightly supernatural. Hiro's supernaturality is obviously his medium-ness, but Tadashi? Tadashi is supernaturally bad at cooking. He's made blueberry muffins while trying to make brownies, and he was being supervised, and blueberries never went in. He's liquefied toast and set cereal on fire by adding milk without Hiro in the room. He's managed to burn JUICE. He knows HOW to cook, and if Hiro copies him, Hiro's dish will turn out perfectly.

Poor Tadashi, he’s trying so hard to be a good caretaker for little Hiro, but Hiro’s not a normal kid, and there are no parenting books on this, so he’s just constantly trying not to freak out. Can you imagine his search history though?

Oh my gosh, this is the cutest Ghost AU I’ve ever seen. Ironically enough, it’s also the first I’ve seen where it’s not the Hamada bros as ghosts. BUT EVERYONE ELSE IS, awesome.

I’m just picturing each of the Nerd Herd being ghosts, but from like all different time periods. Like maybe Honey Lemon is from the 20s, and wears flapper clothing and uses 1920s lingo, but Fred’s from the 60s or 70s. But the group have all been haunting the house together for so long that all of their slang and behaviours and things have started to blend, so even though Wasabi died in the 1900s, he’ll still occasionally call something ‘groovy’ because he learned it from Fred. They’ll sometimes clash because of their different time periods and different culture norms, but GoGo, who’s the oldest and strongest of the ghosts, can usually keep them in line. She’s still secretly relieved when Hiro shows up because now the little medium can help her keep everyone in line.
