I study mediastudies at uni and while I adore this course I have to admit that it makes me really emotional at times.
Today, for example, one of my professors said, that about 98% of people will not become popular from doing arts that they could financially support themselves without need to take another job.
And, as a person that always dreamt of making it big, I cannot help but be absolutely destroyed, because, in one statement, she managed to crush all my dreams, all my hopes of making it out of this place.
